Curry is the most portable player in league history. He can play with anyone because his off-ball gravity is so high it makes everything easy for his team

The reason the Warriors are winning is because:
1. They had an easy Schedule
2. Curry is playing like an MVP candidate
3. Draymond is playing like the DPOY

Other than that they have all replaceable players who have some continuity because this is their 2nd year together. Other players like Otto porter and Bjelicia were getting DNP on their old teams, their job is just a lot easier with Curry.

You're Buggin Out.

So remove Curry from that team and they are still making the playoffs?

Everything I said is facts. They have two elite talents in Curry and Draymond carrying their offense and defense respectively and a couple of replaceable players that fit into their system. If those players were better they’d be making more than the vet minimum.

What a complete f*ck up by KD to trust Kyrie. KD would be a god if he was playing nightly in the Garden. We damn near chant "MVP" to Julius Randle who has 1/100th the talent level KD has.

Shame KD's friendship with Kyrie robbed that from us. But also kinda glad Kyrie isn't in NY. What a complete clown he is.

I'm sure KD would have came on his own too if he wasn't injured. I"m sure even he had some doubts if he could completely carry a franchise after the Achilles injury especially coming to the Knicks with the media attention. So probably going to Brooklyn was a bit of a safety net since he figured Kyrie could also take the attention away while he was hurt.

But man that decision completely backfired on him. KD is having one of the best years of his career and nobody cares about the Nets and there arena was chanting MVP to an opposing player...that would never happen with the Knicks.

Wait aren’t you a nets fan!!!!!!!!!

Yes they are

No not everybody can play with Curry, especially players that struggle moving the ball and defending like we do. Curry isn’t fixing the ball movement on and off the ball, that needs to be in order before he arrives and he’s certainly not fixing the defense. Adding Curry would still require roster reconstruction so not only would this team not go undefeated in a video game but certainly not in a real season.

What they have is an identity, chemistry and a style of play which happens to the complete opposite of what we have, at least in the starting lineup. You don’t just add Curry and think you just became the Warriors

What player can’t play with Curry? None of the players you mentioned except Poole are averaging more than 2 assists a game. Curry and Draymond Green are carrying all the playmaking for that team because they are elite playmakers.

All players in our starting lineup can pass and shoot. That’s exactly who you put next to Curry. Our problem is that we have a bad habit, of relying on Randle too much like it is last season, instead of moving the ball around and having everyone make plays, which they are all capable of doing.

Also considering Curry would be our best defensive guard maybe outside Burks he would certainly help our defense

They are good because they have the favorite for MVP and DPOY. Damion Lee averaging 10 PPG is not why the warriors are winning games.

We won’t become the Warriors if we had Curry, but I guarantee we would be first in the conference

Gary Trent Jr is 3rd on NBA.com's DPOY rankings, I wanted him this offseason.

DeAndre Jordan is basically constantly a homewrecker. And what's that about embarrassing Brooklyn the borough? More like New Jersey. FOH.

But I told you about Kyrie. That dude... you can't trust him to carry. I wasn't mad we missed out after he got hurt because Kyrie had too much power in the situation coming in and playing first. And I have to give the Knicks credit for that. They didn't bow to Kyrie to continue to try to woo KD.

Since we play the Magic, i looked up cole Anthony's numbers which look pretty good. =
PTS
20.2 26th REB 6.6 50th AST 5.6 24th PER 18.70

Did we miss by overlooking him? I confess I wasn't high on him. But do people now think he'd have been our PG of the future if we'd taken him? Would you rather have him than anyone on our PG roster now? (especially given his age)?

He didn't get to show out in college when he got hurt.

Curry is arguably the most valuable player in the sport. The attention both on and off the ball he requires is exhausting for any defense. You literally have to guard him the second he crosses over half court at all times (with or without the ball). That simply allows the warriors to run everything off that.

I don’t think you really watch them play to see how they function. The way they move off the ball and function as a unit is not something you just throw together and expect to work. The guys they have in place are there strategically because they fit. We don’t have those components.

Warriors don't even have Klay. Steph had an MVP season last season too, but Jokic but on an all-time great season last year.

he's the one who always gets forgotten in the fray when the discussion turned to KD and LeBron being generational all the while this 6'3 dude is changing the game in ways we have never seen before him.

Hornets defeated the top teams in both conferences in their last two games.

Return to New York Knicks
