Lol. Those weights aren't meant for gaining mass. He's not lifting to failure with that little weight. They're doing the same thing that they did last off season and that's toning the upper body and building core and leg muscles. That's the player they want KP to be and there's nothing wrong with that.

He's not trying to get bigger he just wants to get stronger and improve his endurance. Low weight high reps is the way to go

do we even know what exercise he is doing there?

and no, he's not going to get 8 reps to failure curling that. but maybe some other compound exercise does. i'd need to know what he is doing with it.

i agree that he doesn't need to gain mass really. toning is just fine. functional strength is everything for him.

KP better show up this season as a Franchise player and not a 2 bit spoilt diva. We have seen this off season movie before with Melo, Amare, etc being in the best shape of their lives.

KP, you need to show that you can at least post up IT (Celtics) or this is all hogwash
