It's been a while since we have a had a legit rookie of the year candidate. If we don't sign a max cat or two the RJ has a solid chance.

i would say KP was a good rook, but far from a legit candidate to challenge KAT

I guess we disagree on what makes a legit ROY candidate.

When you are 2nd in ROY voting, I think you are in the conversation as a legit candidate especially since he was a lot closer to KAT than Trae Young is to Doncic during their rookie year.

Who would've thought that Jokic, who finished 3rd, would be the best player out of the 3. But by your standards, he was not a legit candidate also.

You can see that he’s working on getting that hop into his step back that coach Nick and another couple scouts have mentioned in regards to his shot. I can’t imagine this kid not figuring out his jumper.

Windhorst is on Zach Lowe’s podcast, and said he was with the Knicks during the draft. He said all the trade speculation was bullchit and they were always taking RJ. Said the room was extremely calm.

glad to hear it. wouldn't have explored this until FA anyway.

but glad they are excited about and committed to RJ to this extent.
