he's gonna play hart because he likes guys who are good at defense

At the expense of whose minutes?

Grimes, IQ, or RJ

I'm on page 28.

13:30 PM. 1.5 hours to go. Knicks do anything else besides Hart?

OG go anywhere?

I'll try to catch up.

Then he got us Bullock, Noel, Fournier, Burks (all on mediocre or bad deals), Hartenstein and now Hart. He drafted Obi who was subsequently buried on the bench. Traded an FRP for the right to bench Cam for 1,5 years.

His tenure has turned into an absolute desaster---not better than any of his predecessors----this pig is a snake oil salesman. He got nothing, no connections, is not competent, cannot make any beneficial trades. He is a purely incompetent imbecile.

None of the above. Deuce is the odd man out.

9-man rotation, bet:

Mitch/Hartenstein
Randle/Obi
RJ
Hart/Grimes
Brunson/IQ

Well, they have one minute to punt the season away. And they will do nothing.

No?
They’re replacing Cam. A player they acquired last year to play with or spell RJ.

RJ isn't giving the Knicks anything, bud. HIs contract is a poison pill, as well.

Current rotation vs next opponent for example:
Conclusion JHart toolsy as$ dude . More comfortable with him on ball consistently than grimes because of experience and nearly 4 assist per game . No knock on grimey.
Basically a nice Cam replacement but not:
• over rated
• a pretty boy
• a bitch

5. Sims < Embiid
4. Randle > Tucker
3. RJ > Harris

1.JHart < Harden
2.Brunson > Melton

5. Sims -19 | Hart -29
4. Randle-34 | Obi-14
3. RJ -33 | JHart-15

1. JHart -23| Quickley-25
2. Brunson-35 | Grimes-13

Knox to the Warriors, he's going to get a ring before the Knicks.

Hart is only going to take time away from our young fellas. He’ll be 28 soon and expiring too, so we’ll have to pay him.

Either Deuce &/or Obi are completely cut out now, if not both of em.

Rotation:

Brunson 34 / IQ 14
Grimes 27 / IQ 11 / JHart 10
RJ 30 / JHart 18
Julius 35 / Obi 13
Mitch 28 / iHart 20

Or we go small, keep Deuce and cut Obi out, making RJ the backup 4. Obi’s value would go in the gutter then though, which would make no sense since we should have traded him today then.

We shall see but this is a meh trade.

If you think about it?
Is he much better than grimes?
We spend a frp to suppress Grimes?
To trade out of the draft this year ?
Basically recoup nothing back for cam ?
For a contract that he might opt out of and sign elsewhere ?
Or take up off-season cap if he opts in ?
Or Knicks cut him since his salary is non guaranteed if they want cap?

Sometimes it’s good to just live in the present , let all the dust settle before jumping to conclusions.
The pros are he can help immediately but right now my vibe he is like a cam twin contract and all and it didn’t work out.
Still , the positive is he can help in the short term .
It ain’t trickin if you got it

With no other trade, the Hart trade is pretty meh at best. Trading a draft pick for a guy who doesn't really push you past the first round. He's nice, not sure if you'd give up a pick for a guy who will maaaaaaaybe win you an extra game or two in the first round. I kinda feel the FO did this just to acquiesce Thibs
