we are a small ball team. And he's playing almost all his minutes at the 4. So name precious the 3rd or the 4th "big" is just semantics because of the style we are running.

when Mitch comes back he will have a very small roll if any. Thats the point. Mitch is going to get 20ish mins off bench. KAT will be C and play some overlap with Mitch. And OG and KAT remaining minutes will be at the 4.

Nearly any 4 OG can guard him. He's actually one of the best at guarding Giannis...he will guard Randle he will guard Zion. Most teams don't even run true PFs anymore.

OG has actually guarded Embiid and Jokic at times. So maybe not a minute of "center" on offense but he surely has switched and played the 5 on defense before.

And when has Zion ever been considered a good rebounder? Also rebounding is just one thing its all about the ability help protect the rim.

Also that is why you have Josh Hart. He provides rebounding at the guard/wing position that no team has.

I don't see it. I didn't watch much of him b4. Where did that come from? Is it bc he's a little fruity at times?

It just pisses me off. No Towns is not the biggest badass tough guy in the league. He's a kind person and he is not the strongest big, he can get pushed around, he's not physically the biggest guy either. So yea, he's not Mr. Knock heads bruiser. That said, because Jimmy basically came out and said "SAWFT!" when he was unhappy and wanted a new contract, everyone just jumped down Towns throat and labeled him a chump. Dude isn't soft, dude balls every night. He has flaws and he has deficiencies but he's a damn fine players who brings it and does a lot on a floor. People act like he's trash after the Butler situation and its so frustrating to see.

Nah people labeled KAT soft mainly because of his interior defense and voice if we being real.

Hilariously enough he's anything but soft on offense. I'd even say he needs to be softer, he does too much sometimes lol.

It was an ember and some sparks before that. After Butler went off and Towns followed it up with some really bad performances it became a damn wild fire. He has just started to quiet some of it in the last playoffs. I think he will put a lot of it to bed on the Knicks.

First impressions:

1. I love the Knicks defensively. I am really scared of the Knicks offensively. Bridges is gross as an offensive option. If he isn't given the Brunson role (as he had in Bklyn) he looks broken and lost on that end. Also, we are over-seeking the Towns/Brunson connection and Towns has been unreliable with the 3pt shot...so far. OG is not going to give you this performance night in and night out.

2. We are going to SORELY miss Donte. I would've preferred Donte's supreme offense and above average defense over the bulk of picks we gave up for Briges for an elite defender who looks bad on the offensive end.

3. We've gotta find a way to get Hart out of the starting lineup. He's unguarded by defenders, he's small as a PF and his impact seems to be minimal. He needs to attack or become a threat somehow on offense.

4. Our season really hinges on our core of offensive players (Brunson/OG/KAT) in the starting lineup. Hart is not reliable as a bucket getter and Mitch is not reliable from a health standpoint. Look at the Wolves - Ant/Donte/Reid/Randle. WE are relying on Brunson/Kat/OG
