No need to outsource anything on this board.

We've got ball knowers, sac handlers, hungover buzzards and hamster tubers (no, that's a vlog for rodents you filthy animals)

Need to jerry rig a wall of shame at half-time? We've got you covered, a Normandy invasion of troll posts are rolling in on the first wave

Want to stage an insurrection on draft day? No worries, we'll liquor up Green Arrow and he'll give Adam Silver the full Kanye treatment

Need to juice up your coaching search with unfounded rumors and hysterical pleas for immediate resolution? Stick around buddy boy

Any scenario, you name it, punch your ticket right here. Name your price (exclamation points not included)

Hell yeah, just seen the new community guidelines, looks perfect, great job mod team. Hopefully it is well enforced and we can get back to making RGM Knicks the great place it used to be.

watching melo's podcast, he's making great points about needing a capable ball handling guard next to brunson more than another star or anything major. compares it to haliburton having nembhard. all this time later and team start IQ at the 2 still looking correct...

Obi Bargnani with a team worst -15 in a finals game. Nice to see us ball knowers were right as usual.

It’s beyond repair. Back in the day, people would admit when proven wrong on their takes. Today folks will simply claim to be right with nothing to show. Hamsterdam won’t help with this having become a groundhog form.

You're unfortunately in the Pacers 3 levels of hell vortex, we've been there, you go from -

"Okay, we'll get the next one, no biggie we'll close this out in 5"

to

"What the ****? How is this happening"

to

"OMG make it stop! How are they running off a made basket!!!."

They're really good. If they hold on, Carlisle is about to have two of the most improbable championships of our time.

My dream is they lose and we overwhelm Carlisle with Dolan's Dollars®. We sign him as head coach and inject KAT with the Hakeem Gene, so we win the chip next year.

Just imagine, all this craziness without drugs. But it was fun dreaming!

no offense but y'all have completely lost the plot with these new rules

in a discussion about the new coach, it's natural that the old coach is brought up before he's even hired. in fact, he's gonna be linked to thibs forever and that comparison will continue for his entire tenure. it's a natural point of discussion. the idea that a thread should be so regimented that a natural discussion point shouldn't be introduced is bizarre. and nobody can follow these rules. go look in the coaching search thread and see how many time thibs is brought up. here's a mod bringing thibs up unprovoked -

and i understand, you warned us. if this is about following your authority, fine. but the rule doesn't make sense and there's no way people are going to be able to adhere to this.

thanks for this, sham.

i'd say the spirit of what we are going for is to not have the coaching search thread be derailed into the same arguing over thibs we see elsewhere and have had a dedicated thread for most of the season (including now). it's hard to talk about the search when you have to sift through "whatever, thibs sucks" or "thibs was so good. y'all trippin" for most of the posts (and often from the same agenda driven/trolling folks).

as for GONYK's post, i get the confusion or concern. but i'd say it's still about the coaching search that thibs is tied to and his read as a mod on behavior surrounding it.

and i'd say there are plenty examples of more in-scope thibs mentions in that thread. like, it makes sense to discuss differences and similarities to thibs. comparative characteristics to the next coach. but when that turns more into thibs being the subject, we have a place for that and have for most of the season.

there's both art and science to what we have to do. it's not always cut and dry and we have to do some gleaning of intention and reflect on post history to make some decisions.

i hope that's helpful.
RIP magnumt

i got no hard feelings

i just don't think what they're doing now is realistic. in around the nba during game 4 of the finals, obi played well during the game and there were tons of posts of people mad at thibs and blaming him for obi not being here. which wasn't even thibs decision to begin with but never mind that. isn't this technically off topic and derailing ? thibs certainly has nothing do with that game. but people are gonna bring that up. it's connected. i don't think you can regulate human nature in this way.
