Do you know what the term homophobia means? Seems like some of you like to use big words without knowing what it means. Pipe down because you were already aired out for being in denial on how racist the Giants are when it comes to drafting a black QB.

I do know what it means you f*cking ignorant, childish jackass. My cousin's father told him to his face that he hoped he died of AIDS when he came out the closet. 10 years before he died from cancer. I know exactly what it is and why your bullsh*t isn't cute. Grow tf up Melo. You're an ass hole.

And also, the Giants are starting a Black QB this year and the back up is Black. Just because they passed on Shedeur for acting like an idiot during interviews doesn't mean what you think it does.

Go play your derailing troll games with someone else, I'm not the one lil bro. FOH

You’re the one crying so hard about a meme that went viral all over Twitter trying to be a Karen. Brodie I got family members who are afraid to come out the closet because of the way the West Indian community look at them unfortunately. Stop tryna derail threads and accuse people of being homophobic because you can’t take a joke. You must live under a rock because people do it for all nba players when they play like ass.

And you’re completely blind to the blatant racism by the Giants. Can’t relate to the white knighting by you. Yikes.

Karl Anthony Towns is the worst defender in the NBA. That’s not hyperbole.

KAT will never win a title as the second best player in a team playing 35+ minutes per game. His defensive game and his offensive disappearances are simply not the makeup of a guy in the playoffs. He does not have the mentality of a champion. He never did and never will. If we want to waste $60 million on this type of player then be my guest.

If KAT is on the roster next year I’m throwing in the towel on the Knicks until he’s off the team. That’s how strongly I feel about it. I never wanted this player. I’ve been hating on KAT for a decade. I was disgusted with the trade - and I hate Julius Randle. This man made me prefer Randle. KAT is the epitome of a soft loser and he is anti-NY. We will never win a title with him starting as one of the centerpieces of the team. Mark it down. Come back to it. I’m confident in that statement. So if he’s here then I’m out.

PS: Thibs is going nowhere. Guy might be more safe than Brunson. When you hire people because they’re ‘family’ they begin to protect each other instead look out for the best interests of the team.

Yeah, no. Here’s the thing about family, sometimes the favorite son is actually the one calling the shots. Ultimately, this is Jalen Brunson’s team. I’m just speculating, but the real decision maker will be Jalen and the choice will be between Tom, KAT, or just run it back. As long as Jalen is happy, Leon will be too. I’m just guessing here, but I see the brothers working it out under a new step-dad. But maybe Jalen is over it and wants a Durant or Giannis?

As for your Towns hate, I don’t agree with it. I don’t respect it. I think it’s part of what makes NY such an impossible place to win championships. Chill the F out and enjoy your 3rd team All-NBA center including his very real and noticeable flaws

I don’t care if you don’t agree or respect it. It’s the truth. And sometimes the truth hurts.

KAT is not the 2nd best player on a title team. Never was and never will be. Can put up all the offensive regular stats in the world. Means nothing when he’s giving up more on the defensive end and committing terrible fouls and turnovers and every game. That’s not winning basketball.

Like I said, I’ve been consistent on Towns for the last decade. I haven’t flip flopped. And I’m not going to ignore his massive losing flaws because he’s wearing a Knicks jersey and we made the ECF (and got embarrassed).

I’ll keep taking a giant dump on Towns till the end of time. Just like I did when he was in Minnesota.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I am having depressing flashbacks to when KAT shot his 2nd FT, missed, and remained in his shooting form as the ball came his way while everyone was trying to get the ball.

The unseriousness at a elimination game is unreal to me.

Something was off about them all year.

I hate this year's team for how bad they hurt us.

But at the same time, I love what this team gave us. They gave us an Eastern Conference Final. They gave us so many heart attacks with their comebacks and dodged bullets, and fight.

They could only hurt us because what they showed us when they were locked in was so damn good.

Changes are coming. While I don't love this team like last year's, there's no doubt I will always remember them.

May this be the worst year for this nucleus, whatever it morphs into this summer.

It's been the best for the Knicks in 25 years.

There was zero consistency from game to game.

One game we look like we've figured it out on both ends, the next we revert back to everything that got our asses kicked in the loss prior.

It doesn't make sense to me and Leon and company need to evaluate -everything- from the roster to the coaching. Something is seriously wrong.

Yes it was great making the ECF. But if the team wants to take the next step and get over the hump, resting on the laurels of this conference finals appearance would be a huge mistake. Huge.

"But ultimately, owner James Dolan is the final decision-maker.”

Bring in someone who knows how to run an offense.

Also, a bit of sneaky wording. Being safe doesn't mean he's safe as a coach. Put him out the pasture by bringing him into the front office.

Yeah I didn't expect anything else. So the solutions are (in my opinion):

I think we need to trade Karl and Mikal. Get in another piece or two that Tom will play. We gotta gear the personnel to what he wants.

We need to add another defensive C since Mitch can't stay healthy.

As much as I don't want this, I think exploring a trade for Durant using Karl as bait since he's good friends with Booker might be the direction. But going into the season with KAT and JB together is a non starter especially since Tom is secure.

And the games they won, you can look at KAT. Listen, KAT needs to improve his defense. But we win this series, a large part due to his contributions if we didn’t blow game 1.

We certainly can't do another 2 for 1 trade where we lose more depth. If trading KAT, it can only be a 1 for 1 or we get more players back.

As for the video, whenever the PnR happens, Brunson does a weak check and we all know KAT has to move up to Siakam. Even if he does, Brunson would still be late to the rim.

The season hasn’t been over half an hour and the pressure is on to split up KAT/Brunson. That pressure is going to be non-stop fodder for the talking head idiotsphsere, so I agree something’s gotta give—just my opinion, but Thibs is the most exposed and most likely scapegoat.

Idk how much patience Leon has or how the rumors will affect chemistry, but my gut says they’re attached to the current group for better or worse and will try to keep it in tact. If the pressure gets to be a problem, coach gets fired before star players get moved IMO.

Like I said, I bet Jalen has a lot of sway in the direction and wouldn’t be surprised to see them run it back with tweaks, also wouldn’t be surprised to see a new coach, also wouldn’t be shocked to see some kind of KAT-for-30-something superstar trade that the lowest common denominator tabloid idiotsphere will be yammering for all summer.

My money is on Thibs being the odd man out. IDK if it’s this summer or mid-season but I bet they make tweaks to stack the bench with defenders/shooters/fresh legs and if Tom refuses to adjust they just bring in Mike Malone.

This drunk Knick fan in the tunnel yelled “get us Giannis” to Leon and Leon looked disgusted. I don’t see them it blowing up. IMO the weakest link, easiest to replace, and most vulnerable is Thibs. If Malone is in. I wouldn’t be surprised to see an announcement sooner than later to quash Giannis rumors.

Even if we get rid of thibs you can’t win with this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brunson and Kat duo is an untenable pairing on Defense to win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The book is now out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately this. I don't think we can bring back this tandem. Carlise exposed them defensively and offensively they have no chemistry.

Time to pivot and use Mikal and KAT to improve the overall roster.

kat is staying for sure. the team is fine, jsut need some other bench players, the team is only together one season so they only will get better. they didnt get to figure out how to play together just yet, only in small instances.

When you hire people because they’re ‘family’ they begin to protect each other instead look out for the best interests of the team.

youre a clown, you can win a title with towns as the 2nd best player.

You sure convinced me with this post. Great job. A+.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Turned the game off in 3rd quarter the teams badly coached it is what it is. Was a good season where we seen the up and downs due to coaching and players not playing hard enough. Too bad wasn’t able to get turned around. I told my son last time we was here I was a child and he’s a child so enjoy this. Don’t really feel too bad because I know the coach sucks. Y’all enjoy yall summer.
