Here's what I don't get. Everyone doubted Jeremy Lin's basketball ability from Day 1. He didn't get to a D1 school, he didn't get drafted, he couldn't stay on the bench of any team. He proved every doubter wrong every step of the way. Then after 1 game, everyone said he couldn't do it again. Then 2 games, then 1 week, so on so forth.

To this day people still continue to doubt his ability, despite having proven every critic wrong so far. Morey learned his lesson and now he's making amends. The Knicks will soon learn their's.

No idea what happened in the negotiations but lin is ultimately responsible for the contract he signed. He gave himself back to the team - well, one of the teams - that dumped him. I understand getting the best deal possible, but i'm still not impressed by the guy. It didnt have to go down like this.

No, he didn't. He actually opted out of his contract to get an extra 300k. This was after shopping around for a better deal. Nobody was offering him anything since he has proven to be a cancer, a headcase, and altogether negative sum player over the course of his career.

On top of that, he went to the media and aired Lin out, compromising our locker room and hindering out ability to field the strongest team possible (which includes Lin), for a simple reason: Lin comes back, JR's bird rights become meaningless.

But hey that JR guys a saint. Wait until next year when he bleeds the team dry and makes Dolan pay 20 million in taxes...but but JR took a paycut!

i am thinking that many of the unstable people on this site have similar issues. They are able to post 24/7 due to being under house arrest

We wanted Nash at all cost.. team player.. we don't want Lin "A team player" because he hasn't proven it, but how does he prove himself, if you are unwilling to let him.

these Lin threads need to be saved. When the knicks draft a pg next draft, Jeremy Lin will be forgotten. And everyone who jumped ship will swim back to hype up the rookie pg of the future.
