so don't spill it

especially if its good news for the knics

we will just have to wait and see if your right

He hasnt said anything to judge if he was right or not?

well if the numbers are jersey numbers that is the only way we can confirm.

if not then he is just throwing BS out there. But if he really really really does know something I love the knicks and don't want him to screw anything up in us getting better

Dude you're talking about possibly getting our own player back and a declining 34 year old you're not talking about anything that would send shock waves through the league who cares

So, 6 + 7 = Phil Jackson

Phil Jackson = 6, 7

Phil Jackson = LeBron, Melo

= 9.5M

Calderon 7.1
Ellington 2.7
Shumpert 2.6
Larkin 1.6
Odom 1.5
Shannon 1.3
Timmy 1.3

4 Cap Holds 2
------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------

= 29.6M on the books

= 33.9M of cap space to be shared by Melo and Bron = $16.95M each

What the hell, this is very doable. If you have to send Shumpert with Calderon, or just clear out Shump, Larkin, Timmy, Odom, Brown, to get the both closer to 20M.

What am I missing? Just do the above.

Not optimism, that's for damn sure.

Touche.

I think the above works PERHAPS. Coon says that you can't exceed 15% of the cap in any "future" year. But I don't know if that means the current year. Amar'e only has 1 year left. So maybe you can stretch him.

Someone more familiar with the arcane rules would have to inform me.

Carl let me ask you one thing, if all these plans workout how far will the Knicks go next season in you're opinion

Now that's vague enough not to derail any plans

What if Phil really pulls this off. Just imagine the reaction of Heat and Bulls fans ... every fan lol. Melo out the door? Coming to our city? Nope. He's staying. And LeBron is joining him.
