However, I still think over the long term this is a very good investment opportunity.

Of course people will forget quickly or they may just abandon everything altogether if BTC decides to nosedive. For the time being, I have also sold my ETH and DOT as I think the reward to risk ratio is no longer worth it, I need more risk! Currently holding BTC only as a major. I put my ETH and DOT profits into CRV, CVX, SPELL, FLX, BANK, and GLCH. Looks like BENT got hacked so it has crashed and burn, RIP my money LOL but a gamble is a gamble.

I do appreciate all the knowledge you drop here. I can't thank you enough. Especially as a more passive investor with limited to no knowledge in Crypto. If it wasn't for your comments in here, I'd probably just be in BTC and ETH lol.

It's too bad I didn't buy more SPELL. After your mentioned it; I bought it, and I'm already up over 30% on it in a little over a day! I'm curious if you would take profits after a quick jump like that? Or are you continuing to hold?

I know you said you left DOT and ETH because you want more risk. But do you think those are still ok holds for a passive investor like me? I'm getting some staking bonus on the DOT as well. I might just leave it if it goes over 40 again, which I think will happen after the New Year.

I'll probably just add SAND to my watchlist and buy around $3 dollars if it ever happens, so I have some exposure to gaming NFTs/meta.

I am holding SPELL, they are going to be having a massive burning event in the coming weeks which will increase the price. Also they are removing the inflationary portion of this project, making it a true store of value if you can imagine that. However, I may take some profits if it goes back to all time high as I usually do, which is around 3.5 cents. Taking profits always a must at ATH.

As far as DOT and ETH, I still believe in these projects 100% but I would not be adding more ETH right now. I am still a fan of DOT but they will need a serious catalyst to move higher from 50 dollars or so. It feels AVAX, SOL, and LUNA has taken alot of money from both ETH and DOT. Another one to keep an eye on is ATOM which is similar to DOT.

Think we are in what looks like another defi season, Defi winter? This time it is oriented around stablecoin yield, which is what Curve is all about.

I picked up some CRV and CVX. Also gambling on super small cap BENT. This is in addition to SPELL, which I see huge potential for. Other things that might make it FLX and BANK, all have that decentralized stablecoin narrative.

Good shyt as per usual fam! Appreciated.

I see you mentioned SAND's chart. Do you do your own deep dive type TA? LOL
I've recently been bit by the TA bug and I'm loving it.

I'm reading and watching everything I come across. Wondered if you had any recommendations of sites, or YT vids, or anything really, that you've found to do some good TA learning?

Yes I do my own TA but it is not good for short term price action, I use it mainly on BTC only. My TA on alts is not nearly as good lol.

Personally I would avoid all crypto youtube, most are out there to promote their own bags to dump on you. The best TA guy on youtube is Blockchain Backer IMO but he shills XRP all the time which gets tiring.

Better off being on twitter where u can follow higher quality content from guys like Pentoshi https://twitter.com/Pentosh1

any thought on socios.com $CHZ who just partnered with the knicks (and a bunch of other NBA franchises)?

i had bought a few $CHZ through their app some times ago to try them out, bu for some time now any trading is locked for US-based customers.
what gives?

BTC broke the upper trendline of the 3 week old channel yesterday and spent the day testing it from above but price action now looks to be ready for a test of the 53.2 horizontal level. There's also a descending TL at 50ish from significant recent tops which usually serve as the top of a channel that the price just broke last couple hours.

Likely any significant 'fundamental pressure'..... meaning traders emotional disposition to push it higher may ride it to 53. My impression is a test of the 53.2 is coming. It may settle in above that bigger TL for some consolidation before the push up to 53.

All technical analysis comes from six things and many don't even uses all six... open/close/high/low/volume/time and they get mashed into thousands of formulas and then displayed on charts. A few of the oldest used indicators are the some of the most powerful ones, support, resistance and trendlines.

Just start drawing these lines like I did on the chart in the places you think you see and just watch the charts. Watch how well the price does or doesn't act and react to those lines so eventually you will learn how to identify and draw the ones that help you get an understanding of price action so increase the probability of predicting it.

There are so many types of indicators and it can get real confusing to try to decipher what is going on with all the lines and conflicting signals. Keep it simple so you are less dependent on complex indicators. Besides, with those support, resistance and trendlines the mind will eventually see them without even having to draw them all the time.

There are forex forums where people talk forever about technical analysis, I suspect there may be ones for crypto too that do too and possibly even new sections on forex forums that talk specifically about crypto but I haven't been to those in a very long time so not sure.

No social media, my mental health and well being are too important.

I hear you on the social media. That shyt can get mad toxic!

I really appreciate you taking the time to write that up man.

I actually have been drawing my own trend lines and looking for patterns. Like I said, it's all finally starting to make sense after a good few months of diving in. I didn't expect it was gonna suck me in so much though.
I'm loving this shyt! I'm gonna have to start paying for tradingview soon.

It's crazy I hadn't even thought about looking for forums after being a part of this one for so long.
Damn fine idea. I'm gonna start checking some out.

I think most of the world still see NFT's as just digital art & collectibles.

The tech being the real story. It'll seep into every facet of "ownership" on the planet!

I just might be gone by the time it happens

Sometimes a chart speaks for itself....daily chart.

Image

That's the second test of a pretty old trendline and the probability it bounces off it is pretty high. Of course this instrument is still fairly erratic so there could be a pierce without it being a break or even a break with it snapping back above it and it wouldn't surprise me at all. As I type this it's looking like it is piercing it right now.

You can see there's a really old trendline below it that may be tested on a break as well....that would be interesting to watch for if it does break and continue to trend lower. It would be the first test of that very old trendline.
