If we had to be dethroned, I am glad it was to a very tough and street fighting and cohesive TEAM like the New York Knicks.
This was a series win that was definitely a Team ethos based that worked its proverbial ass off both offensively and defensively.
The Olympics were held in my country (Australia) last time you made the Conference Finals. That feels like a generation ago
Most of you Knicks posters probably never have seen a New York chip (or in nappies when it happened)
You Knicks fans are so damn loyal and passionate (to the point of insanity lol) but you deserve it and enjoy every bit of success coming your way.
Josh Hart especially earnt my respect these playoffs. If there was an mvp awarded to this series I would give it to him.

That’s the thing, the Thibs makes no adjustments in the playoffs thing was a fallacy. He always made game to game adjustments in the playoffs in the past.
This year I will say his in game adjustments and decision making have been better than in the past.
He coached a helluva series and kept them fighting.
Thibs ultimate flaw is also his greatest strength, he always believes in his guys to figure it out.
This was my complaint about him. He eventually makes adjustments but it take a couple games, and in the playoffs that's not ideal. Luckily this year that's not the case. He's processing things much faster and we have the talent to overcome what he doesn't see right away.
I don't mind giving credit where credit is due, to my surprise, he's been good these playoffs outside of a few WTF moments.
He's doing a damn good job .. he's still a stubborn, stuck in the past penguin. But he's ours.

the fact that he fixed his free throw form mid series against the defending champs says a hell of a lot about who he is

because i had to work through the game, i put All We Got Iz Us radio on the house spotify. also my coworkers seemed to understand what i was going through and pretty much let me stay glued to the screen til i got cut during the 3rd quarter
