Sounds likely to me.

He tells Chi they're out, they go sign Boozer. He tells NJ they're out, they go sign Outlaw.

Chicago still has a max. How does Boozer change anything?... it would only help Chicago's chances.

Hasn't it been reported Chi is now just a shade under the max?

Did they ever make up after Boozer screwed him over in Cleveland?

You couldn't deduce that from his interview. He always sounds that way.

Again, not sure why everyone is saying we are out when it appears nobody knows. What happened yesterday when we had reports he was coming here? Why aren't those getting the same credence that Miami's reports are getting? A Bulls exec says we'll get him, former and current players, etc. It isn't over, CLEARLY isn't over, and if he doesnt come, we just signed a top 10 player and have tons of flexibility.

Ohh Flexability! For WHO?? There is NO ONE left worth a f*ck... We could have 200 Million of space under the cap and u know what, it wouldnt mean NADA.. We want to get BETTER, Make the Plaoffs and be a competetive team.. Having all the money in the world WONT help that.. LeBron Will. Case Closed.. End of Line..

I'm still thinking its between us and Miami....but I'm just telling myself it's 90% Miami and 10% us. Of all the teams, I thought Chicago would have been the biggest challenger to us. For Miami to be the main obstacle just makes me sick. God damn you Lebron, DON'T PICK THOSE BUMS

I guess you have no idea how trades work.

Having all the money in the word gets players - just not always immediately. Fast forward to the trade deadline. There will be teams out there desperate to make a transaction and will look at us (especially if we have the open cap space) to conduct business.

Is Boozer official for 5 yr/80? I thought it was 75 and they still had the slot. And apparently he texted LeBron asking him (talked about it on ESPN radio), so I don't think they're enemies.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not pushing Chicago. I just don't think the Boozer signing takes them out of it.

I know no one here cares what he thinks, but Broussard sound VERY CONFIDENT that Lebron is going to Miami. He said more and more people are confirming it.

Take it for what it's worth.

If he goes to Miami, it's just as well...it would mean that he doesn't have what it takes to be a champion by himself with a supporting cast in NY....just like OchoCinco tweeted...

Wow Lebron must have no been interested at all if we have been preparing for this moment since 2 years, and he just decides to join miami because wade and bosh signed their yesterday, are you kidding me.. If Lebron dosent come here, were really going to have to wait for Carmelo for another year, and im tired of waiting

This is too HILARIOUS.

I think it might change during the interview, first 5 minutes "I have decided to stay with the Cavs" then the last 5 minutes
"you know what, I have had some time to think...."

That would make sense. Even though they did say he'd make a decision in the first 10 minutes, no one said that it would be the only decision. 6 teams 60 mintues, 10 minutes a team? Hmmm...

I think they're out of it. Who knows if Booz truly texted Lebron or not? Probably a media fabrication, as everything else has been. Has to be more than a coincidence that it was reported the Bulls FO have given up on Lebron, and a few hours later Boozer is signed.
