The thing that is truly terrible about this contract is that Hardaway is immediately unmovable in a trade.

Instead of working toward cap flexibility and a maximization of assets, these guys are burying even more dead money on our cap.

Check the stats for those games. He wasn't missing many. He definitely has a clutch factor to him. Did it too with the Knicks which is why people still blame him for ruining the tank a couple of seasons ago. Tim has improved guys.

We should have traded for Crabbe straight up. Or Turner for that matter. At least we wouldn't have to deal with a fourth year player option.

it was probably 3 years 45 million. If waiters got 13 million a year they were probably thinking THjr would get 15 million a year.

Knicks went to 17...which means they really really really want him...puzzling.

Could we be missing something, I mean is THJR the next big thing and well worth the $$$$$ and years and trade kicker etc..... what am I missing?

Even in the 50s... but a deal for 71 mill? Wtf on the brightside, his percentages are good. He's just so one-dimensional on offense ugh

This is a huge gamble and I won't be surprised if Atlanta matches, actually.

If they decline to match, then we're gambling that Timmy will take another step in his development, which he very well may. If he gets his scoring to 18 pts per and adds 4 ast and 3 reb, then he's be "earning" his pay in today's NBA and could be traded as an asset. That's a big if... we still need a PG or our offense will be a hot mess and the young'ins won't develop.

Im officially just here for the ride. Only way this makes sense I agree is if Melo is traded and Lee is gone. Hardaway with opportunity can drop 20 a game.

Reports are saying ATL was at like 45MIL and the Knicks offered 71MIL...... if you can't tell that is a big difference and they bid against themselves which is not good no matter how many videos you post.
