Good point made on comment to thread above is Jared and Ivanka probably would never willingly admit to testing positive. Odds are they have it too, so think about that. Unelected superspreadering Trump family members are running this country right now as the skeleton crew at the WH. IOW, a sick mafia family is in control of the USA.

If a public show of POTUS vulnerability drives down donations and voting numbers it could cause the landslide needed to avoid lengthy litigation and the predictable legal obfuscation Republicans would unleash if it's close.

People think it's madness now, but it's not far-fetched that we're about to have a sitting American president who lost the popular vote by tens of millions and was only elected by the electoral college because courts are stacked with right wing judges.

Anyway, I realize this isn't the politics thread. But I just read the NYT and WSJ today, and honestly this thread is much more informative and interesting.

This latest covid drama is pushing Trump so far away from being a viable candidate that that's not going to happen. The electoral colleges in most of the key swing states have Democratic governors and their electoral officials validate the state totals. It will not go to the courts in the way you are describing even if there are some feeble litigation attempts to throw a wrench into the gears of results certification processes.

The problem for Trump is even if he stabilizes and recovers before the election he is going to be a shell of his already declining former self and there will be little he can do to campaign his way back into this. I'd be surprised if there are any more debates with Biden. In face, the VP debate is this Wed and Pence is AWOL so even that is a question mark now.

Rona put the stake into the heart of this vampire administration. They are not going to steal the election.

I've been a lawyer almost as long as I've been posting on this forum (forever), and if there's one thing I've learned it's that Jim Dolan sucks balls. If there's a second, it's that you should NEVER underestimate the will of petty, devious, status-hungry, adolescent attorneys when it comes to cheating -- errr, I mean interpreting-- the law to their favor.

McConnel should have his inflated throat sac enshrined in the attorney HoF for how much sh*t the Republican party has gotten away with. I hear you and am encouraged, but if there's a way to cheat, they will find it and the vampire stake hasn't been driven into their geriatric white hearts just yet. I'm just saying, POTUS Covid could demoralize the right to cause the Democratic landslide needed to end this dystopian shtshow.

(Note to any mods or ballsack right wing lurkers--I'm not a Democrat and never have been, but these cheating-ass devious Trumpsters look to be on the ropes).

It's going to be a Dukakis type loss. Biden's up by 8 or 9 points in AZ and PA and 5 in FL now

Anyway, back to Covid and the rogue family infecting our nation

Trump is in a free fall

He jut checked himself out of the hospital because he evidently feels he's losing control of the WH and wants to put up the appearance of licking covid in record time. Meanwhile, he'll actually have a phalanx of doctors attending to him at his WH bedroom as he convalesces. Look for more videos saying I'm swell folks!

Big effing mistake pal. If you want to die from Rona you just upped your odds big time. The drugs have sent him around the bend, he's not thinking straight and nobody can stop the king from doing whatever he wants. This will not end well.

That this SOB wants to go back to the WH to infect every last person there is outrageous, but it is what it is

Why don't you give me a list of approved news sources? I'll have fun with that. Pretty sure they're not reporting anything different.

You whine an awful lot for a guy with your username. I don't remember Frazier ever being like this.

Please stop. I don’t want this thread locked up too. Why don’t you each put each other on ignore.

BallSac, you’re not changing minds by posting propaganda. If you want to gain the respect of the group in order to have meaningful conversations, then I suggest posting some respected sources instead in order to make your points.

If you want to debate facts Wingo here I am.

If you want to control communications by limiting links to only pre-approved by you news sources that's more of a China or Russian thing. It's totalitarian manure.

Was there anything factually wrong with the news I posted? Didn't think so. Thanks for playing.

These days I wouldn't typify the WSJ as the radical right. That mantle was claimed by Trump world. But I know Dow Jones from personal experience and they are right wingers, that's for sure.

Anyway, any sane person of any political orientation just wants truthfulness about the covid drama at the WH, because we're clearly not getting the real story about their infections, when they knew, whom they endangered and the current status of the key players Trump and Pence

They're just upset the back and forth on his health is making the stock market swing wildly in a way that it's hard for it's clientele to profit from.

I think I'm going to shut down my news consumption for a day just to get a break. This MF is off his rocker so I know there'll be plenty of cuckoo horse droppings waiting for me in 24 hours. This running back to the WH stunt is only going to thrill his ball sac lickers, but every sane person is going to see this and know it is deranged and we are not in good hands. Meanwhile, Rona has a job to do and many more GOP succubi will test positive

Don Jr. is now the voice of reason in the Trump family.

“Don Jr. Thinks Trump Is Acting Crazy”: The President’s COVID Joyride Has the Family Divided
The president’s recklessness at Walter Reed has Don Jr. pushing for an intervention, but Ivanka and Jared “keep telling Trump how great he’s doing,” a source says.

BY GABRIEL SHERMAN

Donald Trump’s erratic and reckless behavior in the last 24 hours has opened a rift in the Trump family over how to rein in the out-of-control president, according to two Republicans briefed on the family conversations. Sources said Donald Trump Jr. is deeply upset by his father’s decision to drive around Walter Reed National Military Medical Center last night with members of the Secret Service while he was infected with COVID-19. “Don Jr. thinks Trump is acting crazy,” one of the sources told me. The stunt outraged medical experts, including an attending physician at Walter Reed.

According to sources, Don Jr. has told friends that he tried lobbying Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Jared Kushner to convince the president that he needs to stop acting unstable. “Don Jr. has said he wants to stage an intervention, but Jared and Ivanka keep telling Trump how great he’s doing,” a source said. Don Jr. is said to be reluctant to confront his father alone. “Don said, ‘I’m not going to be the only one to tell him he’s acting crazy,’” the source added.

One area where the family seems united is over the president’s manic tweeting early Monday morning. After Trump sent out more than a dozen all-caps tweets, the Trump children told people they want Trump to stop. “They’re all worried. They’ve tried to get him to stop tweeting,” a source close to the family told me.

The Trump family’s private concern about Trump’s behavior could raise questions about his fitness for office. Trump has been prescribed drugs that medical experts say can seriously impair his cognitive function. Last night the New York Times reported that steroids, which Trump is reportedly taking, specifically dexamethasone, are known to “affect mood, causing euphoria or a general happiness.”

The Trump and republican base does not care what he does or happens they are voting for him so none of this matters to them. The undecideds.....which I cannot understand how anyone is undecided at this point but I suppose there are some out there, they can be swayed by this.

The election is going to be decided not with ballots but with judges and Trump has been working towards this end for his whole term. Republicans have been rigging elections for decades and this one will not be any different because Biden doesn't have the strong support to make that irrelevant.

This only works if the results of the election are close. It takes a lot of planning and scheming to pull off a coup. Trump and the Republicans are the stupidest **** bunch of goons possible.
