Probably, but not not good enough to win it all. I only had three guys under contract from the championship squad. Westbrook, Adams, and Harris. They wouldn’t have been successful in 2k. Plus 2k isn’t what we build for. It’s all about the sim baby.

A part of building is also being able to “see the future” lol. It’s like that Avengers movie where everyone died :lol:

. My team led by Westbrook was great for last season, but that was their window. I love where I’m at right now. It’s like starting all over again. Its challenging, and It’s fun.

lets be honest the fact the sim allowed Westbrook to be the best player on a championship team we know that is ridiculous :lol:

just kidding but we know real life westbrook has his faults especially in the post season.

this is very true, but also understanding the SIM and finding what players my be undervalued in real life but valued in the SIM is great GM'ing regardless.

and honestly- if i had your team wheel- I would have done the same...

what hoff does with his money will be the key to many teams...

I am almost as excited about watching free agency as I am about the reaction to what my picks will be :lol:

Thanks. Gotta have mad respect for guys who have consistently gone deep in the playoffs such as Mecca and DK (there are more names I could list). Not easy. And as we all continue to get better, and more experienced it gets even more difficult. This coming season, there could be a serious power shift as a result.

depth and coaching made a big difference. You could match up with anyone

Our draft is now just 15 days away. With that said, we will need to conduct one more check in to make sure we have 30 active and ready GM’s for the bulk of our offseason. Please respond with an “in/out” by next Saturday, October 10th. If I don’t hear from a team by that date, a search for a replacement GM will begin immediately so that we can have a full compliment of teams ready and active for our draft.

The updated offseason schedule is posted in our main BaF thread. Wolverine studios released their NFL sim this week which is roughly the same time as in past years so I’m holding out hope that the NBA sim won’t be delayed to much. Ideally, if things work out, we will begin our 2020-2021 season in December. If the sim is released later due to the actual NBA season being delayed, those plans will obviously change.

Any questions on the schedule or draft, free agency questions let me know. And congrats to our “Bubble Final Four”...maybe not the tourney I expected but four worthy teams in the end to battle for that bubble championship.
