I would def take Brunson over Randle.
Mavs
C: Horford | Goga | Paul Reed |
PF: Lauri Markkanen | Randle | Tucker
SF: Trey Murphy | Trent | Anderson | Simone
SG: Vassell | Trent | Livingston
PG: Spida | Mann | Deuce

If Brunson sticks with the Mavericks, after his heady playoff performance, which continued with a 28-point outburst in a Game 3 victory over the Suns on Friday night, there’s another true point guard playing in the Western Conference second round who intrigues the Knicks.

Memphis backup point guard Tyus Jones, who played three seasons for Tom Thibodeau in Minnesota, is weaving a career year and is on the Knicks’ radar, according to an NBA source.

Leon Rose is a **** joke man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He really is. Guy is drafting talent, but wasting it looking through other team's reserves for players who might be popping...to appease Thibs. AND WE STILL WON'T GET THESE GUYS!

Its much easier dissecting an offense off of Luka playing 3 against 2s, 4 against 3s, he is also a midget on D

If we can get rid of some salaries sure, he would be one of the leagues best backups behind IQ 8-)

Personally I think we dodged a 20 million a year bullet that would have made us better but not good enough to do any real damage.

Gotta walk before we crawl. At this point I think PG's start playing better on purpose so they don't have to come to NY to get their money. The Knicks are the ugly step sister to winning.

Brunson feeling he dodged $5M or more discount cheap nightmare in playing for Thibs and the Knicks. So, about even, eh?

At least you see where the fans get it from when it comes to liking players from other teams more than their own.

I can't wait for this obsession with this midget and Donovan to end like it did with Damian Lillard. All these damn hypothethicals is annoying. I have not seen a good roster setup yet with these hypothethicals.

What seems like clockwork for the Knicks is, they have the right ideas or choices for plan A, but absolute clusterfrak plan B-Z

If Brunson is their plan A and doesnt materialize, expect them to bomb spectacularly with the contingency plans

Backup plans might look like minor details or no-biggies but the truth is, they could make or break you in the long run.

Knicks always showing their hand when they holding bad cards. How you gonna go to the Mavs/Jazz game, WITH Julius f*kking Randle, when everyone knows you're scouting an unrestricted Brunson, you're capped out and you have no leverage over Cuban... and now you gotta watch Brunson make things easier for Cuban to make you look stupid? Now, Thibs is going to go into next season reluctantly starting one of our hard working guards like it's some consolation prize. They just do stupid up and down the ticket.

Dolan effect.

Petulant little man doesn’t like to be rejected. Instead of taking the L and rebuilding after bigger names spurn him, he expects his FO minions to come up with a consolation dummy prize.

Case in point: Julius “MVP” Randle after Durant said no.

IQ is the clear choice to start at PG for the Knicks next season. They owe him a shot in year 3 to prove it. Brunson or Jones aren't superstars that will make this a championship team so why spend the money and assets when there is an in house option. I would bring over Rokas and start him before giving those 2 $15-20 mil a year.

Bring over Rokas. IQ, Rokas, Rose, Deuce is fine for PG for where we are at
