Hartenstein came in here without much Hype. This org seems to have a nose for budding talent and knows how to develop them. I would be OK with this move. I think we would at minimum be good enough at C if we get this guy with all the other pieces we have now.

The front office could similarly trim costs by offloading Naz Reid, which would be more about reducing a tax bill than eliminating it entirely, but this season has shown the value in having a viable Towns replacement on the roster. The Timberwolves do not have similar replacements for Gobert, Conley or McDaniels. Richards makes some sense as a more versatile scorer. Him and Sharpe have a similar skillset. What I like about Fernando for us is I think he has some unlocked passing ability and Thibs owns that key. Sharpe too, actually. Richards is more of an end user.

What's Richards defense look like? We all know Thibs preferences. DNP/CD is Thibs middle name if you don't play defense at the 5.
