Re: OT: 2nd Trump assassination attempt
All depends on these strikes, gas prices, and the middle east conflict. But I think the favor has shifted to Trump this last week. I'm guessing Michigan, Penn, and AZ flip red again.
I could see NC flipping due to Mark Robinson. But I don't think it's enough for the dems.
Here is my prediction:

It also looks like a 269-269 is possible lol. Not sure what would happen after. It sounds confusing.

I think you’re massively overestimating how much these single items would impact the election. People on the left are such doomers. This is simply a turnout election and Trump hasn’t done a single thing to expand his base while not only has Harris expanded her base, she’ll pick up Republican votes.

Re: OT: 2nd Trump assassination attempt
I just don't know what the appeal is for Trump/Vance.
They literally have no plans or platforms that remotely lead one to believe they're interested in helping American families. They don't even pretend to either. "I have a semblance of a plan". How are you okay with this half assness?
Like OK the racism and bigotry i get, but after that what's left? Like is life that miserable for GOP voters that threats of mass deportations of Latinos and making outrageous racist claims about Black immigrants eating dogs and cats...is it really that appealing? How does anything that Trump/Vance are putting forth help you? How is it going to lower your cost of living? Like, Biden isn't perfect by any means but his student loan relief plans was a life changing thing for me and my family. What is Trump offering that will help you and your loved ones? I'm sorry, but talking about having one night purges and transgender people playing sports isn't gonna help ease your suffering.
Like we had a hurricane just wipe out areas in NC and FL, and under Biden and Harris, FEMA will provide aid to people who have been impacted through no fault of their own. Under Trump/Vance and Project 2025, they literally want to do away with any emergency disaster aid. Do you really want to live in an America where if your home gets destroyed by climate related events, you're absolutely f*cked? Anyone who was up here for Hurricane Sandy knows that all that pull yourself up by your bootstraps stuff goes out the window when mother nature lets loose, and she doesn't care about your politics. After that we have to look to each other for help. How does doing away with something like FEMA benefit you?
I'm not even going to talk about abortion or women's rights, because I know Republicans could care less and view women as broodmares and walking sex holes that cook and clean up after them. But what else are these guys offering that makes one say "my life will change for the better under their governing"?
The border is clearly a non issue because if it was, GOP voters would have had a serious issue with Trump and Mike Johnson killing a bipartisan border bill that gave you guys exactly what you wanted. Yet you didn't care...and somehow still complain about the border. What does the border have to do with putting food on your table? Fighting inflation? Your health and well being?
Trump and Vancd have no Healthcare plans. No tax relief for middle class folks. No child tax credits. Nothing to help first time homebuyers get their foot in the door. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I can go on and on.
I don't get it. Do you just want to see people hurt, because you're hurting yourself?

I'm interested in this answer as well. Everything that I've read pretty much indicates that FEMA is on the job.
Under Trump and Vance, there will be no hurricane responses as FEMA will be dismantled. So I'm curious to hear what Kamala and Biden are doing wrong here?
When Ron DeSantis and Roy Cooper came calling, Biden answered and gave them what they needed, because politics are irrelevant when it comes to humanitarian needs. I can point out multiple instances of Trump playing politics during natural disasters/the pandemic to people's detriment.
So please, I want to know what you know.

Analysis I've been reading are saying that Trump can lose the popular vote by 5-10m votes but still win.
I get Kamala might be "growing" her support. But where is she doing that?
Look at the analysis "Handledatruth" provided a few pages back in regards to Pennsylvania.

There are entire towns that are completely cut off with no water, food or power. They should deploy the national guard. Biden said that the American people need to help fund the recovery even though we just sent 8 billion to Ukraine. Kamala refused to take questions about their plan. The FCC decided to play politics and declined 20k Starlink terminals so that they could give 43 billion to telecom company donors who still haven't connected one person to the internet. Starlink would have cost 1/30th as much and would be up and running for years.
Just to be clear, I'm not a Trump supporter. We should expect more from our government but neither party gives a **** about us. The Lahaina fire victims were given $700 a piece and a pat on the head so this is par for the course.

There was also an 8.7 billion aid package to Israel. And I think 600m to Taiwan.
And yeah, that fire in Hawaii was one of the worst in history. And I think they didn't even get a billion. Just Crazy.

Trump already tweeted that we need to have "unlimited aid" package for Israel, which goes against his whole "Businessman" and "America First" principles . He should at least make it a high interest loan like he wants to do with Ukraine.

First of all, Starlink lol
Second of all, we didn't send $8 billion in cash to Ukraine, that's the dollar amount of the weapons we gave them, mostly a bunch of stuff just sitting in warehouses. I don't think a bunch of old tanks and missiles are gonna do much to help with flooding
They've sent thousands of people down to help. I'm not a logistics guy, I don't know how many are needed or what specifically is going on. You can say they could've sent more, and maybe that's true, but this entire post reeks of the propaganda people like Elon push intended to get people to stay home and not vote. The fundamental issue with America is that one party doesn't do enough, and the other party is actively harmful. If everyone like you who was dissatisfied with the Dems did something besides grumble in private and stay home during elections, they might actually start listening.

Keep in mind my focus was on Pennsylvania specifically. It contains a lot of the type of voters that gravitate to Trump which is similar to Ohio. Harris is in position to win it, but it won't be as easy as 2020 which was my point. However, I don't expect Trump's doom and gloom campaigning to work as well in Georgia and North Carolina. Ignoring the recent hurricane situation, NC has been doing pretty well over the last 4 years and Georgia as well. So the "America is burning" messaging from Trump does not fit in all states. He did not win NC by much in 2020 and unexpectedly lost Georgia. I think he is in for the same fate because of that messaging. I'll note that Vance kind of changed the messaging last night, but maybe a bit too late.

What's the issue with starlink? You think digging fiber for 43 billion and 10 years of lead time is a good investment? I get you don't like Elon but his products solve real-world problems, like rural access to the internet for not much money.
I'm anti-war, anti open borders, pro free speech and pro health. If I was forced to vote, I would have to vote for Trump as at least his lip service aligns better with my beliefs (not that I think he will deliver). I live in a blue state so it actually does not matter whether I vote or who I vote for.
I think you post a false dichotomy though, both parties are actively harmful. The dems have been running the country without a functioning president as if this isn't a problem for national security. Kamala looks completely out of her depth. They offer nothing except the same not-Trump rhetoric I voted for before.
