If anything, I feel JB has done the impossible and united the fanbase. Every Knick fan I talked to loves him and this team.

However, this is being outdone by Thibs. This is where things start to get divided and toxic again lol

Did you just make this up? Who wanted Brunson benched? I don't always do the game threads because the yo yo emotional responses play to play are ridiculous takes most of the time. Bench Brunson? Jesus.

POR is correct TKKnicks is wrong.

Nah. When your prepared you aren't scraping together wins by one point against a lesser team.

Now you're whining about the margin of victory? We're up 3-1. We're going to win on Tuesday. 4-1 and off to the EC semi finals.

No. You should read what I wrote and respond accordingly. Teams that are prepared don't win games by one point after they blew a 16 point lead and had to fight back from down double digits. It's common sense. Proper preparation prevents poor performance. Thibs is a decent coach. He's not great. The talent on the team is winning the games. Not the HC. Brunson won that game for us. Not Thibs. KATs lucky clutch shots helped. Those weren't prepared for either.

Tha Magic are a much better team than the Pistons. Think about that: Banchero missed 40 games, Wagner missed 20 games, Suggs missed like 50 games and Mo Wagner missed half the season. Imagine your stars missing so many games and you best complementary players out for season and yet they finished just 3 wins below the Pistons. If the Magic and Pistons played each other all healthy, the Pistons would struggle to win a single game. The Magic are being led by 2 6'10 all-star forwards that are very difficult to stop and they have the second best defense in the entire NBA. That is despite their best defender missing like 50games and their best bench player as well.

Magic >>>> Pistons

And while the Boston-Magic game was close througout, the Celtics were really leading the entire way more or less. Magic did a good job keeping it close but one never had the impression they could win. I know some are dreaming up scenarios were we go 7 with the Celtics are take the series....you are all setting yourself up for a big dissapointment. The Magic stay home on every possession, letting Boston go 1 on 1 each time--very good strategy but only applicable because almost their entire team consists of good defenders. We on the other side will be helping out left and right letting White, Porzingis, Pritchard rain down open 3-pointers on us all game long.

brother why u watching the playoffs if you have this defeated mindset? If you don't think the Knicks are playing different defensively in the playoffs then they were in the reg season, idk what to tell you.

Agreed and Pistons >Magic -- who are currently comprised of 2 good forwards and then they drop off the cliff after that. No point guard and cant score for ****.

Ravenxvirall wrote:For everyone thinking we can beat Boston because of what the magic are doing it makes no sense to me, the magic are playing top notch defense from possession to possession and we don’t do that. If we somehow could play comparable defense though we could win a tough series against them.

It makes no sense to me that beating a team that is struggling with the Magic makes no sense to you :D

Lmao I guess you just don’t know ball then? But in reality being 3-1 on someone isn’t really “struggling”. And in another realm of reality we don’t play defense like the magic do, this isn’t last years team.

Knicks are 3-1 versus Detroit...do you think this series hasnt been a struggle? Have you been watching the games? :o

Is Jalen confirmed to be playing tomorrow? I wonder what's truly going on with that ankle, like how close is he to not playing?

Yeah I'm not sure who people are arguing with.

Who are the posters that don't like Brunson?

Outside of like Najeem but I don't think anyone takes his dislike for Brunson seriously...

The refs let that game get out of control yesterday. Shroeder is literally hugging OG. But I am happy to see that we were willing to oblige.

I believe that we can beat this team by keeping a 10 point lead from start to finish but I dont think we can blow them out and hold a bow out lead.
They are 1 more guy deeper than us...and I dont think the Thibs will allow Precious to play. We close them out. None of us like this team but I cant deny that they deserve to be in the first round. Just not the second

They are a good team. They are a bobo version of our team from last year, essentially. They deserve everything they have gotten up to this point and I respect them as opponents.

But we're better, by virtue of experience and moving up to the next level talent wise, and should be able to prove that by ending this series.

Definitly agree! Hopefully we come out- get a 20 point lead and our fans help them maintain at the very least a 10 point lead till thee end. That would be a nice game...
