No, they thought 10 to 11 million per season was reasonable. This is just a bad deal for New York but he did improve a lot in Atlanta. Maybe the Knicks see something I didn't see.

How? He f*cking played 17 minutes a game in the regular season! He actually had a worse year than the 2 years he played for us. Someone said he played 33mpg in the playoffs. That just makes me think of one name ... Jerome James.

He's not even anywhere close to what we need. We have Lee and Dotson looks like a legit steal. On top of that, Doncic and Porter Jr are both wings in next year's draft ... which we were SUPPOSED to be tanking for.

Yeah, was between NYU and Rutgers. Opted for less financial debt.

That's what is killing me as well bro. Doncic and Porter Jr. are wings. I loved that we had that slot available. Even worse, it lessens our chance at landing them in the draft.

POST ASB:

17.5 PPG / TS% of .593 / 3PT% of .373

If we can get those #'s extrapolated over the duration of the contract, it'll match the money he's given. He's also a perfect fit in Horny's system.

If they decline to match, then we're gambling that Timmy will take another step in his development, which he very well may. No team is trading for him with the trade kicker (or without, frankly but that seals the deal). Teams value two way players, not one way shooters.

Most people LOVED the trade that sent him away. That got us Grant, who 'helped' us get Rose while trading Lopez as well. That trade was basically the reason for the Noah signing. So now we overpay for Hardaway. Oh my, this all got us out in the worst 35 million a year we have locked up for 3/4 years.

Oh yeah, and we also got him a player option, to get out if we actually wants him 3 years from now. Oh, and a trade kicker to make him even more untradable if he doesnt make huge strides. Great!

Different team President, SAME Knick habit of overpaying and allowing terrible clauses in the contract.

As I have stated over and over, it doesn't matter who the team President is. The blunders point to the top.

MSG has relationships with agents of particular players that they have to uphold.
