Knox + DSJR + Frank + Dotson + 2 DAL picks +2020 NYK pick is the max i go. Washington should be looking to blow it up.

Mitchell/Jordan
Durant/Beasley (I know hes in China, but i think hed come back if possible and he would be solid off the bench and KD best friend)
Barret/Beasley
Beal/Trier
Kyrie/Kadeem

Beal makes around the same as AD.
There’s no better price because we have to use the same package we’d offer for AD to match salary for Beal. At that point, better off going all in on a top 5 player rather than a top 20.

I'm warming up to Culver. Wouldn't be mad at getting him or Barrett

So if the knicks obtain 3 superstars this summer and win the championship, it would be the first time a team would win a championship without any home grown stars on it.

I think Barrett's a lot closer to the Culver, Hunter, Garland tier than people like to admit. I'd love a chance to trade down a couple spots and get whoever falls plus an asset for the future. I'll be fine with any of RJ, Culver, Hunter or Garland but not particularly excited for anybody.

You would trade that for Beal?

That's basically the AD deal.

1. Yes
2. Notice i said "is the max i would go" This wouldnt be what i would first offer or what i would try to get Beal for.
3. This deal doesnt involve our 2019 or Mitchell Robinson , so its not the AD deal
4. Its not "basically" the AD deal. Its about 80% of the value of the AD deal just like Beal is about 80% of the player Davis is.
5. This team is much better then if we were to trade everything for AD and the team is much better if we kept everyone and just added KD and a 2nd star. All star or potential all star in every slot of the starting lineup.

You put together the same trade scenario for Ad to get Beal? :nonono:

Explain how its the same.

Seems like the news lately are due diligence, we’re most likely gonna draft RJ.

All we need to do is add Lance Thomas or stretch him and im pretty sure we have enough salary to make it work or its at least very close where it wouldnt take too much to make the trade work. May have to add Kornet as well to make it work salary wise.

Also, Durant could be a champ and take 31-35 million instead of 37 to help out our flexibility.

I like we are looking at shooters with that second rounder. I would say a G/F who can shoot or stretch 4.

Interesting.
“The Knicks are exploring the possibility of trading back in the draft to acquire pieces that better complement potential high volume All-Star free agents, per @DraftExpress.”
