Scott isn't a snake he going tell you truth straight up he is not going lie to anybody. Look at kp trade the only person that was somewhat mad tim hardaway junior because he didn't get a phone and found out on twitter.

were they not playing or working with the team before the trade?

Supposedly those three guys burke, lee, and kp got phone call from perry and tim hardaway junior claims he didn't get a phone call. Three of those found out after practice when they left got a phone called.

exact we have to meet an offer that physically doesn't exist? Boston isn't offering that much with assurances AD is signing longterm which means they aren't offering that because AD doesn't want to go there.

Who’s to say he won’t or he already hasn’t gave them (or their agents) the heads up of “Hey, we may or may not move you this offseason at a shot of a top 5 player in the league. We won’t know more for a few weeks but we’ll keep you up to date as things move along”
It’s truly simple as that.
What more you want? A leaked report of Scott telling them this? Lol

I disagree. Everybody knows this business when they enter the league. A trade can happen anytime. You have journeymen who go through like 7 teams in their career. It's just the way it is.

You shouldn't be telling the players, "hey bud, you might get traded. We don't know yet. Just a heads up".

Just stick to the plan. Do what's best for your time. But if a trade happens, it's just the business.

It doesn't make Perry a snake. I actually think he's being really professional about this.

Giving up on these players, telling them you are trying to trade them, and going to NO on your knees would be insulting.

Tim saying he didn't get a cal is the biggest cop out ever. You know he got a call and missed it or declined the call.

Unfortunately Lavert has shown more than any player we have. Maybe not DSJr.

Levert is nice, but the way people talk about him is how they think he'll be rather than what he is. People jumping on Barrett but Levert is prob less efficient.

LeVert was doing very well to start the year. Then he got injured and came back to a team that took off with DLo turning the corner.

Maybe someone can sign&trade DWade or Dirk?

Middleton and Brogdon are both free agents

So Griffin has pretty much set the bar for a package that no one team which is being rumored even has the all star and what team with an all star is going to be the third wheel in the trade that gives up their star but not get AD?

Only for the fact that he is an incredible player that I don't want to see the Knicks just bow out of this nonsense but at the same time I don't want to see them give up the massive package it would take to get him.

If the Knicks hadn't traded KP they might have the best package without giving up the farm but then they'd still be stuck in cap hell with Timmy still around.

Perry just needs to stick around in the conversation so it drives up the price for any potential eastern conference teams who might make the trade.

Or be like Luke Ridenour who got traded to about 5 teams in 3 days.

I can imagine Perry with the other GMs sitting around the table like a game of poker and Perry's poker face is legit. He's not showing his hand while the other teams are basically sweating but no one's leaving the table without that ace up their sleeve.

Boston has all of it and i think even the Lakers have it with Kuzma or Ball being looked at as the could be all star player. The Knicks are the team that doesn't have the all star player so we'd have to find a 3rd team to help us.

I think he wants an established all star. The Celts can oblige. Give them Hayward.

I'm not so sure that's all that laughable. I know Heyward was very much not his normal self last year coming back from his injury but he did have some really good games towards the end of the year and i think even a couple in the playoffs that he did look like his normal self. I think he'll be just fine as soon as next year and right back to being the player he was. This is obviously me assuming because i don't know but we do a lot of assuming on here. I'm a fan and wouldn't mind if the Knicks found a way to get him if it was a good deal for us.

KD’s playing tonight.
Let the fun begin.

PS - Klay should’ve played game 3 to have a realistic chance

Start creating realistic Beal trade offers. I wonder what it would take to get him. There's no doubt that we have the assets. His contract is pretty friendly in today's NBA and he's a very good player. Perhaps, we attempt to get Beal to pair with KD and potentially Kyrie. Beal's contract is good enough where the Knicks would retain max cap room even if they acquired him before the draft.
