I’m dead ass serious. Stacy Abrams needs to be the head of the DNC until she can take her rightful place as Governor of Georgia. Tom Perez is a **** smuck. Schumer needs to get the **** out too, whoever runs the DCCC and DSCC. They had their chance and got burned badly

That was on fire.

This is what I meant earlier today. The Dem Party needs a 20 year marketing campaign. They do need to rebrand themselves as the true patriots.

The general perception that Democrats talk to the public in a condescending and patriarchal tone is something you actually hear quite commonly outside the US for those that follow politics.

One strategy: talk to Republicans like they're idiots... Use three or four-word phrases.

The resident loves phrases like, "JOBS! JOBS! JOBS!" or "DRAIN THE SWAMP" or "LOCK HER UP!" So I guess we have to talk to these people the same way because anything more than a sentence, they simply can't understand.

It's a shame that we are in this state. I guess you can't educate the unwilling.

Rebranding the same old product? I don't think so.

Yup you aren’t reaching the Trump voter. The post mortem of this analysis better be **** giving black people their props for saving the country and latinos for holding it down except for Florida. If I hear anymore about the disaffected Trump voter I’m going to **** vomit. Start showing some respect to people of color

Do you believe that? It doesn't really make sense to me. Democrats are pretty much the victims of their own weaknesses as a party. The Republicans are Lucy and we're Charlie Brown.

Yep. Fck the Republicans. They can suck my dick ... figuratively speaking, of course. I don't want to tease BallSac.

Thank you! You get it, I’m tired of people talking about mainly policy, no one gives a **** about policy. It’s a battle for emotions and then turning out, expanding and mobilizing your base. Democratic Party needs to do some soul searching and tear this **** down top to bottom.

Biden owes his victory to all the brothers and sisters and their mothers and uncles showing up, that's for damn sure

Exactly.

And the same thing could be said about the term, "working-class American" which apparently only means the former steelworkers or the farmers. Like Black and Latinos aren't working-class Americans or something.

This isn't a policy fight in the slightest.

Nobody cares about policy.

I think the Democrats are often placed in a position of having to tell the public what they don't want to hear, but may need to hear. That's a strategy issue and also a marketing issue.

In a world that continues to be dominated by Covid-19, the economy was possibly the bigger issue. At the end of the day, enough people are selfish and vote to protect their immediate needs rather than the good of society. There needs to be a smarter way of incorporating both into a platform or there won't be enough inertia behind it to actually get legislation passed.

If you want to attempt to reach all these rural folks who are Republican and, therefore, continually vote against their own economic, social, and medical interests, then you'll need to bring liberal radio to those areas and sell it because that what they listen to all day long.

The vast majority of people don’t follow politics as closely as us. Having to explain the intricacies policies and norms all that bull confuses and loses people. Don’t get me wrong it’s super important but Democrats are horrible at messaging. They need to just make broad statements, only the media cares about specifics.

Republicans are much worse at compared to Dems. Listen to Mitch McConnell when he's speaking. He's always talking about what the American people want when it's not even true. Look at the polling on many of the major issues like Medicare for All, Green New Deal, Marijuana legalization/criminal justice reform, increase taxes on corporations and capital gains/dividends. Americans - but especially Democrats - favor those programs by almost 90% in some cases.

Republicans are like those students who are assigned to read a book but then come to class the next day asking a fellow classmate what the book was about because they didn't read it.

Democrats need to cliff notes their policies in simpler terms because asking a Republican to give their viewpoint on the book 1984, they would base their answer on what someone else told them. I mean, many of them still haven't read the transcript...

Oh don’t even get me **** started. Remember all the think pieces after 2016 about just reaching out to the “working class” and Trump spoke to the forgotten man? Oh yeah Democrats were too focused on “identity politics “ they said. Now all these mothers voted for Covid45 in even higher numbers. People of color were trying to tell everyone from 2016, America is **** racist
