Oh boy. Knicks putting out a trash roster led by a new coach with young players and Fringe NBA/G-league players. Led by the rookie they just drafted in the back of the top 10 and other young players from their previous drafts. Hoping to tank for a 14% chance to go #1 and draft a once in generation talent in a "deep" draft. And then hoping to sign a couple of Superstar FA agents that want to team up in NY.

Hmmmm where have I heard this story before? Couldn't have possibly have been the 2018-2019 season all over again.

This draft wasn't good but next year's is very deep.

Let's remember that they haven't drafted well recently. All it takes is one draft to change the course of the entire franchise.

But again, with thibs coaching and the new lottery rules, the Knicks won’t be the worst team in the league..they will win enough to miss top 3 and lose enough to miss the playoffs..it’s the never ending cycle..just keeps pushing the target further down the road

It is very rare that any team builds a championship through free agency. 1st,8th,34th,60th it doesn't matter where you pick as long as you can recognize talent, help nurture that talent and surround them with complimentary pieces. Obi, Mitch, RJ, Frank, Knox, DSJ, Iggy, Quickley are all in that class. Find a way to get the best out of them and develop what they are good at. Maybe 1 or 2 will be all-stars and the rest good rotation players. That is when you get someone to say. "Ok, I have something to work with, let me go play there" This is the only way.
