Our whole team was injured last year and we didn't do anything to deserve that..

Bottom line is: stuff happens. Time and chance .. sometimes you're in the wrong place at the wrong time.

what i really want to say is, he was going bar for bar with captain clutch in the championship rounds but his body wasn't built for it cause he wasn't coached to play 40 minutes by thibs all year long

I think he over exerted himself this game because usually he's focused on scoring and rebounding but this game I heard Mazzulla challenged him to do a lot more so he was all over the place....Hunting steals, making hustle plays, etc.

That's your ball game folks.

Those guys who killed them in game 3 were silent last night. That's the recipe. Let Tatum, Brown and White try to beat you but you can't let the other guys get off.

Edit: PAUSE

Been screaming this since Game 1: stay at home on their shooters. It won't matter how much Tatum scores if their roleplayers aren't getting open looks.

Tatum phased out the rest of the team. Kobe would do that too at times. Jordan knew better he always passed it some when he went crazy. 4ast for Tatum and 15ast for the team. That's bad

Exactly. If Tatum wanted to score 60, by all means let him try with a hand in his face. But I'm not leaving a bunch of plus shooters wide open for easy shots.

He was too busy gathering energy from the baddies in the expensive seats to pay attention to any of that.

forget shed a tear, they thought they actually won the round fair and square  when we close this series out we are going to talk about those Pacers and how QUICK they are going to be going home, we aren't soft like the Cavs or banged up like the Bucks.

What an amazing win. Prayers out to Tatum. I hope he makes a speedy recovery. Guy was a monster last night. He tapped into his darkness.

Team balled out tonight. Mitch truly was the missing piece to bring it all together. Mikal looked like a guy worthy of 5 picks. Brunson turned into Playoff Brunson.

I was very skeptical about this team going into the playoffs. But they’ve proven me wrong and I’m a fan of this team again. They saved the physical Ruff Ryder energy from last year for this post season. I don’t care if we play Indy or Cleveland. We can beat either. Let’s close this out in game 5

They’re still a pretty prideful group. I think we’re in for a battle on Wednesday.

Mazzulla treats Tatum like Thibs treats our wings. Tatum is right near the top of the league in minutes in the regular season and the postseason. He played 48 minutes the last time we played them in the regular season. He has a ton of 40 minute games this year too from October to the end of the season.

Knicks team is picking up experience and further gelling in realtime.

Pistons gave us experience beating a hyper-physical, young, high-energy squad.

Celtics series gave us experience guarding 3pt barrage and learning to score vs the league's most airtight defense.

The experience we gain slowing down the Pacers high octane style of play will make us complete and ready vs whatever team we face in the finals.

Pacers could really surprise and give us a total nail biter

Under Carlisle they're a very tight knit group, they love playing for each other and for the coach

I think we win in 6 or 7

What are you talking about I think they’ll be favored lol

Knicks would likely be favored, albeit, not by a lot.

smoke ducking conversations? fr?

unguardly.

We can prob beat OKC anyways. I always felt like if we could beat boston, we can beat anyone

I think the difference with OKC is they aren't as super reliant on the 3-ball like the Celtics are.

Lost in the euphoria of this win... Is there any update on OG's hamstring? He wasn't moving like he usually does in the 2nd half.

With Tatum seemingly out for the rest of the series, it may make sense to hold OG out at least in game 5. Hamstrings can be SUPER tricky to deal with and very finicky.

Let’s give Boston game 5 so we get the “the Celtics are better without tatum he’s blocking Jaylen Brown’s greatness” narrative going just to needle melo a little bit more before we finish the job in game 6?
