Stretch 4 Knox I’m looking forward to seeing him at the 4.

Fiz just said randle will be playing a lot of point forward and we know RJ can distribute too. If we were asking frank to run the offense like Steve Nash. I would 100% get your point. But that doesn’t seem to be what we want out of our PG anyway.

Frank would have to develop into a sniper from 3 for that to work. He's more comfortable with the long 2 though and lacks range.

He’s the best shooter of all the PG’s. While that isn’t a ringing endorsement I am obviously project frank to drastically improve his 3 pt shot. Really needs to just go to a league average 3 pt shooter to be effective in that role.

You keep repeating that Frank is the best shooter of all the pgs but nothing statistically supports that at all. His and Dennis's numbers from the past 2 seasons are nearly identical and if anything the underlying numbers favor DSJ.

i'd love it, but morris ain't coming off the bench.

after we flip him to a contender i think that lineup looks right.

but if morris stays, i like knox eating big off the bench too. so long as he's getting PT and developing, i'll be happy.

Yeah. Just because his form looks the best, it doesn't mean anything if the shots don't fall at the end of the day.

Look at Kevin Martin, 38% from 3 for his career but has one of the ugliest shots ever. It all comes down if it goes in, despite the form. That's the most important thing here.

sounds like you expect him to be randle's primary backup and play the 4 when randle spells mitch at the 5 in small ball (no defense) lineups.

i hear that. just concerned with how many minutes per game that is. 20?

i think even at full tilt, we should find 26-28 minutes per game for knox. hard to do that without some time on the wing.

He'll definitely play the 3 too.

I think we'll see a healthy dose of Randle/Morris/Kev front court

This is all fine and dandy in pre-season and before the losses pile up. Let’s see if those tones change later in the year when dudes future $$ are being effected

He is also a better FT shooter which usually translates to better outside shot (usually).

The % obviously are a small sample size with how little frank has played but it pretty obvious (to me) who I project the better shooter. If frank gets DSJ type minutes I would think he percentages would more reflect what I believe he can play at.

Obviously DsJ provides things that frank can’t ass well. But as a pure spot up shooter I stand by my statement.

Yea well we'll see what happens. I''m not saying he can't be a good shooter, but right now the fact is that he's the worst PG shooter on the team.

There are obviously some projecting involved in my analysis. But I don’t believe you actually think he has the worst outside shot out of the PG’s.

as i guy who aint that high on either, so i have no favorites, dennis's shot looks the worst. there's no doubt. frank is the least confident though. he seems afraid to be in the nba every other night.

there's no winners. let's be real, this is two ugly people fighting over who's less repulsive.
