He could be our last lessort at a backup center.

Nov 20, 2020 - The draft rights to Mathias Lessort was acquired by the New York Knicks, along with the draft rights to Immanuel Quickley and a 2023 2nd round pick (DET own), from the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for the draft rights to Leandro Bolmaro.

Have to wait until next year when he hits 30. Aller likes his euro centers aged like fine wine

What’s with this Hawk Tua girl rage? Did you see her on Bill Maher’s podcast? I think Bill busted a nut during the interview. It was really weird.

Even if the window with Durant is only 1-2 years, it’s worth it. A player like that raises your ceiling. I think Hart likely needs to be in this kind of a trade for salary purposes.

Brunson-Bridges-Anunoby-Durant is the best 1-4 in the league.

Brunson/Bridges/Anunoby/Durant/Robinson
McBride/DDV/Precious

Round out the roster with the taxpayer MLE

That’s a bonefide championship contender

Im.not even sure of the cultural significance of her etc. If its like everything else that goes on in the USA now, it must be exceedingly dumb and culturally politicized. The USA is an upscale cesspool now. A shame, seems to be a handful of decent people in it.

Yea it’s a 15 mins of fame thing, but hopefully she makes it last longer. Saw a few clips of her talking about her life… kinda sad actually. She said she’s a legitimate crack baby, parents are gone, and was working in a factory. Happy she’s making big money now and has a chance to do something with the fame. Seems like a good kid honestly.

I'm pretty sure he does not want to come to the NBA at 29 years old.

The guy definitely seems to have an intense drive to show people who didn't believe he could be a top level player they were wrong. I imagine he'll be extremely interested in coming/going to the NBA if the money is right.

Other than Prigioni, I'm having a hard time recalling a consistent list of "late bloomers" from Europe coming over. And I use the term late bloomer very loosely.

Why not?

Šarūnas Jasikevičius did it came over at 29 after a successful career in Europe.

It's a very, very short list.

Great motor and the skills look legit. But a little undersized at 6'9"....can he give Thibs level rim protection? Not a Mitch replacement imo, but perhaps a Sims (or even Precious) replacement IMO. 1 year left on his contract, but maybe we go the extra mile to buy him out?

I'm not doubting the benefits, but there's virtually zero news of his interest in playing in the NBA. People around here were up in arms regarding Rokas. Lessort's situation is literally a precursor to Rokas.

Not yet, but as we know, the world at large closely follows and is influenced by this Knicks board. I'm sure traction is mounting.

We could bring Lessort over if we want... it's up to him. He seems like a good vet prospect to take a flyer on. Reminds me a bit of Precious but with more offensive potential.
