I'm very confident that it's by design. And I think it's smart too. Only a two game sample, but Edwards' 3-point percentage is currently identical to what it was last season, and he's nearly doubled his volume (from 9.5 per 100 to 17.0 per 100).

A big talking here over the offseason is that it's a bad thing that we were third in the NBA last season in 3-point percentage, because it meant we didn't shoot enough of them. I think they have been pleading with guys to shoot more 3s. Heck, I think it might have even factored into the trade. Towns tends to be gun-shy at times, almost in a way to protect his percentages. Meanwhile, Randle shoots 3s at a similar rate as Towns, and DiVincenzo had one of the highest rates in the league.

They talk about how cold Tim Thomas and Lamar Odom were back in high school. I heard about Lamar but Tim was the man back in those days. Easily one of the biggest high school players I've ever seen. Didn't even hear about Kobe til his junior year.

Yeah, I can understand him and the team wanting to up their 3PA rate but someone like Ant taking 55-70% of his shots from 3 throughout the preseason and regular season so far just seemed a little high with how physically gifted he is. I wasn't sure if he was just trying to get comfortable taking more threes or this is something we should expect from him all season.

He shot 31.1 3P% last season. I don’t know where you take that from, but I wouldn’t say you’re making a good point considering it’s a one game sample-size.

I assume he is talking about their volume of threes taken, not the percentage they make. KAT took 8 per 100 possessions. Randle took 7.5.

Yeah that's why I said rate, not efficiency.

Next great debate is on the horizon. BI vs. Mikal. I don't think BI can play off another star. I said it.

Brandon Ingram is the Monta Ellis of Kawhi Leonards and Mikal Bridges is the Klay Thompson of Tayshaun Princes. So obviously I'd take Mikal.

Greenie, this is the most unserious star in the league. I'm a fan but I'm also glad he isn't on our team. A one leg 3 is dope as hell when it isn't happening on your team or against your team

Jerami Grant had a monster game. 34 points, 8-17 threes, 3 blocks. Ouch.

Heh, game winner against Portland ...... Portland. These aren't the same. Good for BI, he had a much better 2nd half, but he still can't play off Zion.

he's hit other game winners in the past against better teams.

here's a big one against boston. this one he hit came off a pass from zion.

right now ingram is 80-69 with zion. there's really no proof that supports your argument lol

I was really high on Ingram.
I thought he had potential to become next KD.
I guess NOT.
