Nah, there were definitely some dudes who saw Brunson get hurt (not in Game 4, a previous game) and say stuff like, I hope Brunson doesn't come back.

The whole reason why it seems like the whole forum is united in rooting for Brunson is that he also doesn't really have bad games that often. Even with his weakness, defense...it's clear that Brunson is trying (maybe trying too hard, considering the fact that he keeps taking charges). Some players on this team have haters, and there's lots of material for it. The Brunson haters are there but there's just not that much material. For example, take that postgame thread after game 1, where you had some dudes pop out of the woodwork to blast Brunson after we won that game and call him selfish. It was kind of desperate imo and people called them out on it.

If we lose to the Celtics or Cavs badly, those guys will pop up again. We just need to revisit the postgame threads for games 1 and 2 for Philly last year...a bunch of dudes having the time of their life and they rarely post again afterwards.

Yeah... It's not impossible to believe people say dumb **** but, that's blasphemous.

Clyde never had bad games when he twice brought us to the Promised Land.
Spoiler:
I saw him play like shyt in a number of games, but they were a very small % of his overall games and he always bounced back from a bad game. If anything, although JB hasn't yet won us a chip, he may be more consistent and gifted on offense than Clyde was.

Never seen him play as a Knick as I was too young. I was like 6-7 years old in his last season here.

Brunson is the best Knicks player I've had the privilege to watch. Better than everyone including Patrick.

Now this is a real uncalled foul.

Josh hart slightly nudged hardaway nobody is calling that to decide a game in the playoffs.

Exactly bro

I don't know. Hart hit Hardaway in the middle of his shooting motion while Brooks hit Curry after he released the ball. Both could be called fouls but one of those fouls directly affected the shot. I'm not too caught up with the missed call at the end of last game since the refs allowed it to be physical all game but we know if the roles were reversed this board would be crying too :D

I think the moral of the story is that if you're in a scrum you want Josh Hart on your side of the scrum  Every year he's on the right side of a late game broken play.

In contrast... Mikal just crawling on the floor though

If Hart didn't make contact, Hardaway would have missed by a bigger margin. Hart saved him from emberrassment.

I don't know about that. I'm just glad the Knicks won. If they lost on a silly foul at the buzzer after the incredible plays that were made on both ends of the court in the 4th I would have been sick.

If a foul was called on that three, THJ would have missed 4 free throws.

Incredible talent, but also a tremendous winning spirit to make the shot under that kind of playoff pressure. I'm reminded of how KD ruined Brooklyn's chances when his big toe stepped on a line. Totally opposite personalities. KAT is incredibly likeable and dedicated to the team.
