We keep this up and the real losers are Jenkins, Malone, Bud who have been counting on us being swept by C's so they could get the job

What a turnaround. I am still trying to curb my expectations tho. It basically took 2 once-in-a-decade collapses from Boston to get us the wins.
At some point, they will start making threes. But now, we are in this one. big time.

I dont see it that way. Our defense was better. Yes the Celtics missed open shots but that was because IN GENERAL our defense was elite and better than theirs. Knicks deserve credit and you know what-while Thibs isnt an offensive genius and might let the Knicks play too much on their own. His strategy helped get us 5 consecutive road wins in the play-offs. He deserves some credit too.

This is bs. I can only imagine what prices would look like for a finals game. This is how you reward your hard working loyal supporters? After all these years? I understand bumping up the prices a bit but that’s insane.

players and coach deserve a lot of credit, no doubt. Still, I've never seen a team losing it completely and missing every single three. like... ever.

What a game by Bridges. The shot-making and the defensive plays were absolutely fantastic.

And when you observe Tatum's loose handle on the final play and you contrast it with Brunson's puppeteering with the ball, you can see the advantage we have in a close game. We have the best closer, so we can feel comfortable in a close game.

Our team has more soul too. The Celtics are a great team because they follow the data but they can seem robotic and hopefully that extra bit of grit that we have can take us over the top. We'll always have that character so long as Hart and Mitch are on the team.

Salute to our boys.

mazulla just straight up fouling mitch to get him off the court, it wasnt even about the freethrows. he admitted it. Mitch is so so good for us its incredible. if only he could develop some kind of offensive game and durability he'd be such a beast.

This is no longer a house money series, this feels like a series the Knicks should win. Up 2-0 and heading home.

Boston goes through runs when they are not making threes, and you have to win those games when you’re playing them in a series. They missed 75 3’s over the first 2 games of the series.

In some ways, game 3 feels like a must win game. The Knicks have the momentum and this is probably the most anticipated home playoff game since the 2000 Eastern Conference Finals.

Expectations have changed from let’s get back to Boston 2-2 after game 1 to you better not get back to Boston 2-2.

Return to New York Knicks
