Wait...you mean someone is elated with being paid more than $100mil to go away? They just get to do what they were already doing in rehabbing and then get to choose where they want to go after that while keeping all the money? How dare they...be exactly what everyone else would be instead of be mad at $100mil to not play basketball.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

So elated I've decided to ask my boss to give me $100mil to go away.

To be fair, the payments will be delayed. With inflation still remaining high, you lose significant money with delayed payments

Take lower interest loans on guaranteed money and invest with higher yields so are you kidding me with this nonsense...it's money for nothing do I have to explain to you how wealthy people make money on money.

Allows for the Knicks to have a true 5 out starting group and then let the bench mob of Mitch, Hart, Deuce and Clarkson create some mayhem against opposing subs.

This is what I was thinking too

there is no chance you are starting Yabu and KAT together at the 4/5 if you want to defend anyone.

I dont want to defend anyone

Unless there's a trade then yes.

Still fishy that no Bridges extension has been announced yet :o

Maybe I still think we can pull a trade for someone using that Wizards pick as bait.

I'd be shocked if Leon hasn't already worked it out in principle. Just he's had to take care of a few things lately.

BKlutch wrote:Some of us thought that Dame was blindsided and would be miserable from being dissed by MIL. We worried that Giannis would be really upset with the deal. According to Sam Amick of The Athletic,

What does this mean for Lillard?

League sources say Lillard is elated with this decision, as it puts him in the kind of basketball-first position that few All-Star level players, if any, have experienced in league history. In short, he’ll be able to join the contending team of his choosing, either sometime soon or perhaps next summer, without the financial aspect of the decision playing a significant part...

Not surprisingly, league sources say Lillard received calls from several contending teams very quickly after the news of his Bucks’ ending broke. The question now is whether he wants to sign with a team now and rehabilitate while under their care or wait until next summer to reassess the situation. All in all, it’s a dream scenario for Lillard. Especially considering he might have been heading for a change of scenery even before his injury.

As The Athletic reported in early May, Lillard and the Bucks were likely going to discuss whether he wanted to remain with the Bucks after last season. From the frustrations that came with the on-court fit to the fact that he struggled at times while being away from his children, it was no secret that Lillard wasn’t likely long for Milwaukee. Now, he leaves with a level of freedom not often seen in pro sports. — Sam Amick, senior writer

Yeah, he's been pretty vocal about not liking Milwaukee much.

I hope he makes it back to Portland somehow.
