Boston goes through runs when they are not making threes, and you have to win those games when you’re playing them in a series. They missed 75 3’s over the first 2 games of the series.

In some ways, game 3 feels like a must win game. The Knicks have the momentum and this is probably the most anticipated home playoff game since the 2000 Eastern Conference Finals.

Expectations have changed from let’s get back to Boston 2-2 after game 1 to you better not get back to Boston 2-2.

the balls on this dawg. i respect it.

2 wins away from conference final.
Just protect the home court.
Is this the year we all have been waiting for?

Thing about it is Boston is very good on the road. They were 33-8 which was best road record in the nba and won twice in the garden. The job is not finished. Even if we go up 3-0 the job is not finished we don’t wanna be the first ever to blow it

What a turnaround. I am still trying to curb my expectations tho. It basically took 2 once-in-a-decade collapses from Boston to get us the wins.
At some point, they will start making threes. But now, we are in this one. big time.

will they though? knicks are playing swarming defense when mitch is out there with og and bridges. I think the celtics are in a world of trouble and this is 3-0 saturday.

Yea, Game 1 was the most important and Game 2 was a must win. At this point, every game is a must win. When you got a dangerous team like this, you can’t give them any hope.

Like a killer in a horror movie, you don’t just stab him once or twice and walk away thinking he’s dead, you gotta go buck wild on em to make sure he ain’t getting up again.

Yep. A lot of their missed threes, although open, were under pressure. It's not like the four regular-season wins when they were shooting threes from a rocking chair with no defender in sight

I agree here. When you have a better team against the ropes you need to knock them out.

But I think in my mind entering game 1 we barely had a chance, entering game 2 I would have signed up to get to game 6. Now I feel like this is a very winnable series.

I fully expect Boston to shoot the lights out in one of the next 2 games. NY needs to win the other one. Get to a point where we need to win 1 out of 3 to go to the ECF.

yup, if KP isn't hitting the 3 I truly am not worried, they feed off that. It's a mental thing at this point and i think they are going to blitz them saturday, people are wary but this team knows what it takes.
