For me it's this simple, maybe he's lying maybe he isn't. If he is lying or if this story is bs who the hell cares? I have to believe that this organization knows better than to trust anyone who has ever been employed by Pat Riley so that isn't a concern. The greatest thing about this quote is that it refutes the idea out there that the Knicks aren't in play because of their roster (not as good as Bulls, Nets, etc.) Wade is saying HE could win here with just one more top free agent.

The egos on these guys are huge, but I wonder if LeBron isn't shook from last year's playoffs and the disappointment before that. Wade's earned his swagger, gotta give him that.

If James isn't coming here, that's the absolute BEST CASE scenario for the Knicks. Not only Chicago and Miami suffering but the Nets as well.

I said before that Amare signing with us could possibly set off my dominoes than people realize. With no other team having the ability to sign two maxes except Miami, there aren't a ton of options and possibilities. If Bosh does in fact go to Houston via S&T, then Wade and Lebron really are scrambling, if that's even possible. Assuming Chicago can't open up that 2nd max slot, wouldn't we really have a shot at one of them? Chicago couldn't tout their roster as better than ours, not with us having the best player among the two teams. If both want a sidekick, they come here. It will be interesting to say the least if Bosh goes to Houston or NJ.
