Carmelo Anthony is ABSOLUTELY a scumbag. I'm fine with a suspension. Wasting too much time on this anyhow. The guy is a scumbag.

You need a ban fu*k a suspension. And Paco if you're gonna do that you might as well hit KG with a suspension too. The way he's been ranting could be grounds for abusing his power.

He initially agreed to a deal that the Knicks felt they could match; this deal encouraged the Knicks to make certain roster moves. Then Jeremy Lin consents to renegotiate contract terms and agrees to a deal which would allow Houston to pay him 8-8-8mil over three years while the Knicks would have to pay 5-5-15mil over three years: A poison pill for the Knicks that would obviously deter them from matching.

melo hates lin = calling lin contract ridicilous

never once did he say yeaa i want lin back, but he said he can't wait to play with felton in his latest interview.. his true colours is that lin is a bigger star then him and he hates that... he also said he didnt like lin having the ball more then him so do u really think he likes lin to be around? no way because he demanded to be traded to only new york so he could glow in the light... but turns out he sucks

few things:

1. felton is a better passer than lin- and thats the extent of it

2. lin is a better shooter, defender (remember when felton was here we regularly had jeffries guarding points)

3. felton when scored upon tries to score...im sure his highness melo is going to enjoy that

4. why do we care about dolans pocketbook? sign lin lord knows i dont see any of lin or dolan's cash.

5. i think we do match....we better anyway.

is there any doubt lin is a better player than felton with much greater upside? no. the only problem is the cash...if they are serious about winning the cash shouldnt matter....anyway you slice is lin is a good player that can help.

we are destined to have the same problems at point as last season...depending on kidd, an out of shape felton (im assuming anyway...safe assumption) and some dude with 0 nba experience. you dont sign 38+yr old dudes to see if things will pan out. you try for the sure thing...the only sure thing is not that lin is an all-star, its that lin can help.

dolan's a moron though...so who knows.

Uh LIN is the reason this happened. He got himself more money and overdid himself, now he cant be signed with the knicks. Nothing wrong with him getting more money, but now because he wanted more, he is not a knick. Simple

Are you basing this off of the quote from earlier in which many took out of context?

I think Melo himself should match Houston’s offer sheet.. I mean it’s up to Melo to decide if we match or not right?? If Melo would just give Jeremy 25 mil this could be all over! Damn you Melo you have that type of money in your couch cushions you selfish prick, F you Melo and I JUST UNFOLLOWED LALA ON TWITTER B*TCH..

If Dolan matched and then said to Lin:

"Hey Jeremy, you want to get paid like a top guy because of what you make me off the court? Ok. I'll do it. But guess what? I'm bringing in 3 other PGs. I'm making my money off you now regardless. If you want to see the floor, then you prove it. Enjoy."

I would totally change my tune. THat would be the boss move of all boss moves.

You know who hasn't gotten enough hate? Woodson. Melo might have no say in personnel decisions, but GM's absolutely consult coaches. If Woodson had high expectations for Lin, I think we'd be matching. Nothing is PURELY financial, it always depends on how good the FO thinks the player is.

It's been boiling under for a while now, but Lin being cut was the breaking point. World War Knicks Board has begun.
