Its good to have those excuses ready in advance.

Ah, if the Bulls are to be outplayed they will be. Keep the Bulls off the offensive glass and anyone can beat them.

Not only the Bulls, but yes. I'm not wrong though. Bulls are headed towards a first round exit.

Thibs is the Mike D'antoni of defense. Overloading the strong side is a gimmicky way playing defense and it gets exposed in the payoffs.

He just basically said "if we lose this year, it'll be because we're not good enough". How the **** is that an excuse? Just saying, I don't like the Bulls either, but you're being kind of ridiculous.

Also lol @ Miami "coasting" again right now. Enjoying OKC putting the hammer down on the Mavs, though.

DeMarcus Cousins is a knucklehead. He gets a tech with less than 2 minutes in the half and gets ejected minutes after the 2qt ends. He was the Kings leading scorer and they'd just cut a 12 pt deficit to 1 at the half. For the love of Pete, It's halftime moron!! Go to the freaking locker!!! Is there any player who deserves to play in the NBA less than this kid?

2008 Boston Celtics. Truth is alot of teams play the Bulls style of defense, Chicago just does it better then most.

Same defense that won Boston a title in 2008,and another finals appreance.I would call that a better system than Mike D'Antony's offense.

The wolves tried to run the triangle a couple of years ago, same offense that the multiple time world champ coach Phil Jackson used. Yet the wolves are trash compared to the Lakers.

Ditto Bulls compared to those Celtics teams.

No it's not the 2008 Celtics. That team never doubled as much as happily as the Bulls do. The Bulls just can't wait to bring 2-3 players at anybody who gets in the lane. That type of defense exposes your weakside and both Collins and Vogel were able to tear it apart in the playoffs.

I'm willing to make a bet that the Bulls give up way more than their average in the playoffs. It's a gimmick defense. Maybe after 3 more first round exits you'll realize it.

In every single 2011 playoff series, the Bulls allowed more points than they did in the regular season despite the slower pace.

You don't come to another board and call people stupid, particularly when you're not so bright yourself.

LOL. That statistical difference is so slim. That is a weak base for your argument. Teams play better, harder in the playoffs. The fact that the Bulls defense was only "statistically" slightly worser in the playoffs doesn't mean that the Bulls defense is a fraud in the playoffs.

EDIT: Just realized your "stat" says that the Thunder, Celtics, and Heat all had worser defenses in the playoffs last year, despite the "slower pace".

Your argument and claims are weak.

Not really, the Heat defense was better in the 2012 playoffs compared to the regular season series against the same teams. That's because the Heat don't play a gimmick defense that can be adjusted to.

Nice try though.

Nice hedging of your statistics right there.

Try again. You've got no basis at all for what you are saying.

Apparently every defense is a gimmick if it works against your team, right?
