What happened to Ivan Johnson? I'd much rather he take one of the last spots. Him and another PG and let's go, let's go, let's go!!

I don't think it's sad at all. It's the way it is in the NBA. If you go all you have to get resourceful to fill out your team. I actually like that they are being proactive and looking under every rock.

I respect the hell out of doing everything you can to fill out your team, and turning over every rock. I hate that back door deals and "favors" can slow down progress for teams, and give players and teams false hope.

Sean May likely has NO CHANCE of landing with an NBA team and any agent who tries to sell him on a pipe dream is just setting him up to fall.

That is the sad part to me personally.

it's part of the business. you do favors to people you know and to certain agents with the hope that one day it gets reciprocated. nothing wrong with it. and if may happens to look good, they'll consider it.

I hear you man, it is part of the business just not one I am particularly fond of.

That said having contacts and being able to make these kinds of things happen is what some of the GMs in the league have/do better than others which is why they get better results.

Networking is part of pretty much every industry.

Grunwald must be really bored cause none of these guys are NBA players. This is a big waste of time!

Even if he is they may be better off with DJ White.

Sean May hasn't been in the league for 3 years and hasn't been real productive for almost 7 years (2006-2007 season was the last "good" season for him and even then he only played 35 games).

moo, dj white had a spat with Melo I think it was game 4 or 5 of the 1's round and maybe has been blacklisted from the Knicks along with Jordan Crawford

Really? Odd that they would have him in for a workout then.

Yep. Let's hope they are still waiting. Guys like May and White will be around any time they want to, no reason to jump on them now.

smokescreen, Knicks are hiding or attempting to hide something, where is Earl Barron name, he hasn't been mentioned at all, but I see Patrick O'Bryant, not even Jerome Jordan whom has disappointed his chances.

C- Chandler/K-Mart/Tyler
PF- Melo/Amare/Bargnani
SF- Artest/Hardaway/Leslie

We're working out every guy who can't lay off the cupcakes but we can't give Cole Aldrich a look? I blame Tyson, they have the same agent and he's worried Aldrich might give more effort.

DJ White/Al Harrington > Sean May

Sean May isn't an NBA player anymore.
My lifetime better have a Knicks championship.
