This is on THJ. Shump barely played in the 2nd half.

Timmy had no idea how to just stand next to a guy

THen you didn't watch the game. THJ wasn't the one guarding him during his 15 pt explosion in the 2nd.

Neither was Shump. That was Toure, and then Raymond. Shump was the only one who managed to slow him down in the 1st.

The second half was all THJ

Shump actually came to play last night

its obvious getting felton back to be the primary PG has been a colossal mistake

the question is do certain players who vouched for him regret it or not

That's why you can't let players make personnel decisions, don't matter how much they make or who their agent is.

Its funny because JR was one of the most out spoken about it, and at that time was buddy buddy with Dolan bc he was going to take less too stay. How has that worked out.

And Melo was the other guy 'talking about that's crazy money for Lin', well now he is stuck with one of the worst pg's in the league. And I know we have to resign him, but the money he is about to get is worse is a worst contract than the one Lin got.

F SAS, this guy kept going on and on about how Lin was a fluke and we make the right decision with Felton. LOL

Lin has had a solid year, but I think he would be even better under the bright lights, that move set us back big time.

Who cares? I yawn when I'm working out, doing a Crossfit WOD, taking a mini rest on a run, etc.

Not having Shump in the second half hurt us last night. Now we know whey THJr and Toure' and not ready for the keys to the Bentley.

Toure was especially disappointing, because that is the whole reason he is even getting a shot in the league. The Jimmer Fredettes of this league should not be outclassing him like that.

letting Lin walk was the most knuckleheaded move in the history of professional sports. i said that then and i am even more convinced of it now, but what is done is done.
i would be happy if he comes back, but getting rid of felton and woodson are much higher priorities

What a joke, he obviously has never caught a Rockets game. Look at his statline last night, 5 assists 5 turnovers and that's probably a good game for him.

If someone can help me out with this question, Who would not be on the team if we resigned Lin to the poison pill contract? besides Felton, I can't think of anyone.

Lin would have been cap neutral since we had his Bird rights we could have had Felton and Lin. The only difference would have been the luxury tax. There was a court case about this if you remember and the decision was in favor of the Knicks. So to answer your question Lin would have only cost us a roster spot and Luxury tax so pick out the worst guy on the roster and that is the guy whose spot Lin would have taken up. We are a garbage organization.

I don't like Felton on this team, but he yawned. This is quite normal. My only issue is that he didn't cover his mouth. He was tired. hahahaha

Gotta admit, the optics of it were terrible, even if the yawn was human

5 TOs with only 5 assists is not typical of Lin's performance this year. Check the stats. I'm not saying that he's not TO prone, but c'mon. We'd be much better off with Lin here instead of Felton.

if they had extended him right away, which was the obvious move, he wouldn't ever had the houston offer. even after the houston offer, if knicks had matched, i don't think they would have signed felton, but someone else in his place with the same money, likely a SG or SF.
the plan was for kidd/prigioni to tutor lin

Not to get into this, but why would Lin have taken the Knick deal without even hearing offers from other teams?

That makes no sense for him, and no agent would have allowed that to happen.

If you're focused and invigorated, as he should have been, I find it implausible for one to yawn. His disinterested body language in that gif says it all.
