I just made a general statement about the game. Are you going to act like Fisher had absolutely nothing to do with that 2nd half?

Never said that. Why did they come back?

Partly because the Pistons were just playing like crap, partly because we started playing with actual heart, the Pistons couldn't make free throws, we were much more aggressive getting to the rim, Afflalo made some shots, Galloway stepped up, Jose didn't play, we started running more PNR's etc.

We just didn't run any high Melo PnR's in the second half we almost ran it every time.. with some AA post ups and then they started putting Gallo in the PnR with Melo as the screener.

That might be career suicide for him..but at this rate would it matter?

Old age is showing.. Driving is too much work for him

But we can't trade him, he's a mentor for Porzingis. We might be the 6th seed in 3 years with him.

What has gone on here the past 2.5 years is so unacceptable. It's so frustrating. It's so embarrassing.

It's everything James Dolan deserves.

When they got the lead my heart started racing. Then after the game I had a brief cry and feel almost back to new.

At the end.. Doesn't matter if Pistons start missing shots.. we don't make any if we don't lean on the PnR. They were bound to shoot the ball worse as the game went on.

He's gonna get fired either way. I rather see him get fired for winning his own way.

I mean if you had zero experience doing a job, and someone gave you $25 million but said you have to do something that won't work, you would take it to.

Yes, and if we fire him now Rambis would be the coach, same thing. Try something Fish now, and gtfo in the offseason

Yeah, they were bound to shoot the ball worse, but our defense in the 2nd half was much better. We had guys like Aaron Baynes having to take midrange shots, and we made the Pistons get into their sets deep into the shot clock. It was a honestly a combination of things which allowed us to come back...running more PnR was probably the biggest thing

Man, I was having all types of MDA flashbacks on this one. Just a carbon copy of the cocktease games of his tenure.

Ok so what can we take away from this loss? Well I think talent wise we are right there with the Detroit's and Boston's of the League, however the system (triangle) is a clumsy fit for our personnel. This is clear a daylight to us, the commentators, the players and probably even Fish. Phil needs to step up and put his ego aside. Is he capable?

So what do you realistically think nets us Jrue Holiday?

Thought it was always a pipe dream but I could be wrong...
