Well Isiah is waiting in the wings once Phil leaves.

Phil is like Isiah, except instead of trading away draft picks, he signs washed up vets to long-term contracts :curse: :curse: :curse:

The guys on reddit say that the FO is really warming up to DRose.

Beside Clippers and Cavs I have a really hard time seeing another place Melo would green light? Maybe the Bulls to play with Wade Rondo and Butler? Don't see any other place.

Looooooool imagine being a Jets fan on top of Knicks

Only 2 spots separate us in draft between Jets

bro I hate my life.

Woody Johnson and Jim Dolan. 2 1%'ers born with a silver spoon and never had to work a day in their life. No wonder why they're so incompetent.

Posts like these make no sense. And wth will that do? Keep this sorry ass team at .500??

Team needs a consistent identity. Noah didn't fit. Chicago started Gasol instead of for a reason.

I'd shop Rose, Noah, and Lance.

Nobody is taking Noah. As always we have hands down the worst contract in the NBA on our books.

Lance can be moved but we'll have take a bad one back. Fine by me.

What can DRose net you? Maybe a 2nd? Nobody gonna pay for a FA they can sign for free

People laughed at me when I mentioned the future possibility of Dolan requesting that Phil come down from the front office to coach the team.

Keep laughing, guys. Keep laughing.

There's a reason why history always repeats itself.

You're all about the ominous predictions. Stop with that crap, bro. You've been going on and on about how Melo is gonna get the Kobe max and a farewell tour from the Knicks. Now you didn't even watch the game, talking about what a disaster this team is.

Just admit, neither you or anyone here really knows what's gonna happen. But we can all bet good money Melo isn't gonna be here past his current deal. It makes no sense, with or without Phil in the FO.

I don't see Dolan firing Phil over this either. I think Phil still has Dolan wrapped around his finger actually. For better or for worse. My prediction is an ominous one for Melo. The Zen Master is not liking what he sees, and that's no empty prediction. That's a guarantee. And sure, he can't trade Melo without his consent, but I think the real mind games are about to begin. Operation trade Melo is underway. Put that in your peyote pipe and smoke it. Melo is toast.

No it's not. If they start playing games with NTCs they really will scare away free agents and make this team look like an even worst joke

Would you really be surprised if Dolan sided with Melo? Phil's jersey is never going to be retired in the MSG rafters...but Melo's will be.

We just need a top 10 pick to get our Guard of the future (or other high level prospect if guards all gone) in this particular draft. We are currently at the #13 pick. Lets get KP his sidekick for future. This draft has good depth in talent for the lottery.

oh, and of course there's no amnesty in the new CBA

We maybe able to get something for D Rose at the deadline. If he's averaging 18 ppg he can help propel a playoff team.

Pretty much everyone here has high expectations and aspirations coming into the season. They cant backpedal just like that to show that they knew it all along.

I predicted 35-47 before the season started. I'll admit the team has actually looked better than I expected (at times), but not much better. The problem with folks' lofty expectations was that they believed that Rose and Melo were much better than they actually are.
And just like that, the lead has been cut to 8!

Ofcourse not. Hornacek would get caned. But if you want that ntc to be waived thats the way to do it. No way would melo stay if that were to happen. But no.... we are scheduled for another carmelo Anthony tour for the next years
