u forgot you kept on saying "mitchell put the clamps on DSJ" like every single day? don't act like you were day 1.

Read what I just said again. I did say that. I wasnt doing it everyday. That's your specialty lol. That was to counter your 100 videos of DSJ.

He's got an ideal physical profile with upside and potential. im not going to overrate him and i dont think the transition will be a breeze he's still very raw but i like his future.

Patience is key, he probably wont shoot out the gates like KP. Point guard is one of the tougher positions to adjust especially if your in franks shoes itll take some time but i think he comes with high reward once he figures everything out.

From the limited footage I've seen, it's hard to think of a further off comparison. Franked looked slow and deliberate, but could shoot well. Pretty far afield from Kyrie. But who knows? Frank could be an All Star or a waste, we know so little.

To be honest, between getting glimmers of what type of person he is, his mentality and character and also glimpses of just how noticeably bigger and (as a result) stronger he's gotten since the draft, I would say that he may actually shoot right out of the gate. What he's shown in the summer working out tells me that he said in this article about "loving basketball" may be very true. Guys that love basketball that have his smarts and his physical tools turn out real nice players, stars even. Improved strength and conditioning can actually help explosiveness and athleticism.

Coincidence?

I think not!

Ha - who knows. But tallish PG, good but not great driving to the hoop, fundamentally sound, understands spacing and being a PG, will kill you with the jumper if left open, most of his drives off the defense overplaying his jumper, great defense.

This is who Frank is, plus 2 inches taller.

D. Harp comparison is pretty spot on, at least for now. Hope he can develop into something special.

Was Kurt Rambis coaching the Lakers defense at that time?

Harper's peak with the Mav's:

https://www.basketball-reference.com/pi/shareit/kyh5e

Basically, 17 pts, 7 assists, 2 steals, 3 rebounds. Excellent defense.

I think Frank is like this, but averages more rebounds - 5.

He was probably playing on it.

Magic was guarding Derek in a lot of the clip, and Magic wasn't that good a defender at guard. He was 6'9", so you can see Harper had some size.

lol ok i dont give a fk who can dunk better, or the competition betweet the 2 players. only one is on my team, and renaldo balkman could dunk too.

also if were basing **** off this fanbases obsession with arm length, its going to take him longer to get off a shot. guards are quick in the nba.
There's something about an underdog that really inspires the unexceptional.

I don't recall KD, KP, or even George Hill having slow releases because their arms are so long.

Frank's release actually was a little slower than I'd like to see in Europe, but that isn't hard to correct. Plus, his height will make it extremely hard for guards to contest.

Jason Kidd had a deliberate release, but was never really bothered by contests because he was 6'4".

Which is why I don't think all of his mins during rookie season will be at point. Rookie season in NBA is hard enough, learning point makes it about twice as hard.
