This what i mean you guys are going overboard with burke. He can be apart of the future as a bench piece but if your counting on him as your starter going forward then you already failed.
Hes not a starter in this league. Similar to timmy he can be a great bench piece.

He’s a starter
On lottery team absolutely but on a playoff team or a championship contenderabsolutely not.
He can be a starter on a playoff team too.
People want to draft Trae Young.
Same type of player.
Trey is a starter. Be happy. Now we can use that pick on a forward.

The MSG crews love of Kanter is frustrating. Jeff not playing him in the fourth is one of the few good coaching moves he makes.

Absolutely not. Young has wayyyyyyyyy better range and is a way better facilitator/passer and is only 19 compared to burke being 25.
Burkes game is best suited as being a spark plug off the bench.

We found our backcourt for the next 5 years.
That’s how we won.

Trae would stretch the defense way more than Trey does. I'm taking Trae if he's at 9, But I'm not mad if he isn't, and we go into next season with trey.
