R.I.P. firstly. Great people are always missed.

mags was one of my mentors on the site, a person I could always come to and have discussion about pretty much anything. When he retired, I didn't want to accept that, but I understood why. I didn't know him offsite other than chat, but I could tell he was truly beloved by all he came in contact with. Just a truly special individual.

You'll be missed, my brother.

I remember writing him a warning on the general board almost 19 years ago. Few people have argued receiving a warning like him. By the end of the conversation I knew he could do a lot more. His passion for basketball and engaging people was obvious. I’ll miss him disagreeing with me (often) and being passionate about his team. Rest in Peace my friend.

Magnumt will be greatly missed. He had such a large presence in various boards and I really appreciated his approach and learned a lot about how to deal with situations from the examples he set. He did an awesome job. Very sad day.

I’m stunned

It goes to show how we really don’t know each other even though we have so much interaction

I’m deeply saddened to hear this news and my hope is that his passing was peaceful and that his family is well

I always enjoyed mags. He brought intensity, humor, standards and passion to all of his communications.
He will be missed

Wow this is crazy. I knew he was ill but I did not know it was this bad. Rip to my Guyanese bredren. I can’t even believe this. I’m at a loss of words.
