I advise all you guys to step back from watching all these gossip shows. we'll find out what's real and what's not on sunday after 6pm until then just sit back and watch some rj barret highlights. It will get you through it.

I'll say this... and maybe I'm reading waaayy too much into this - but many athletes/celebrities try to remain low key while in the big cities and there are others who EMBRACE it. Durant could be in a private remote area while rehabbing and even if in NY could easily get someone to get him whatever he needs... But Durant is out & about in the city. And let's face it guys - either you love NY or you hate it! There's no middle ground to the city. Durant, who moved his business, 35media, to NY & produces the Boardroom in New York & bought a home in NY. All this could be coincidences, yes! If so... I'll admit it - he definitely has me fooled.

I'm not gonna get into this DSJ thing but i have to think that all you guys do realize that all players hit their shots and 3 points shots in practice right? I can pull up multiple videos of multiple players like E.Kanter for example that can sit there in practice and hit 3 pointer after 3 pointer after 3 pointer. It's practice.

But can they square up from the point to the elbow where the apex meets wrist to a create a fluid hitch motion drifting in space

nah... if he returned to health and signed with us, I don't think his risk of injury was higher than the other options out there.

And the free throw line. How you gonna win if you can't trust having your starting PG to be in games in the late 4th quarter because he can't hit his free throws.

guys take it from me please...I was with a good friend of mine who ruptured their achilles. I took care of them until they could walk again and its not what you think its is...I had extensive conversations with their doctor...
First of all, do you have any idea how strong that tendon is? You have to view this differently...when my friend had the surgery
the doctor did over 300 stitches...Let that sink in guys 300...I know he looks weak hoping around like that
but it's only because it needs to heal first-before he can put weight on it. Wait till he tries to put pressure on that foot for the first time- he will probably think he's never going to play again...all of this worry is "mental". It's about what KD's idea of this injury is
-what our idea of this injury is-when the bottom line is- he didn't get his foot amputated- he can come back from this-but he has to
believe it and go through the grind of it and complete the process with the discipline and repetition- something my friend could not do...

Look the reason that I believe KD can come back strong from this- is because another great player did it (Dominick Wilkins) and I believe
KD has the mental make up to believe that he can do it and the mental make up to put the work in! He's done it all his life...

Thats all it takes to get almost anything you want accomplish -PERIOD!

Belief is all you've got on this one, because the facts about the nature of the injury for NBA players, especially one in their 30s, don't actually back up any such conviction

Your friend doesn't happen to play in the NBA do they? That's right, that's a whole other kettle of fish

KD will be hounded by the media types whenever he steps out in public, and they'll be watching and filming his every move (or non-move) in his recovery. The mental pressure is going to be immense.
