I feel like the direct comparison between Wiseman and Mitch is disingenuous

Of course Wiseman is a better prospect, he was supposed to go #1, while Mitch was a 2nd round prospect

The argument against him was, it wasn't worth it to trade Mitch, 8, and whatever else to get Wiseman cause Cs in the modern day aren't franchise players, with the exception of Jokic. Even AD struggled as the franchise guy with decent talent in Nola before joining Bron in LA, and Wiseman is closer to Bagley than AD

Which is why I said if we were gonna move up, it should be for LaMelo, not Wiseman.

This argument made sense before we drafted a big, now it doesn't hold much weight because to maximize Obi's potential we will need a 5 that can shoot. Don't be shocked if we're linked to Mobley if we don't have the top 2 picks for Cade or Suggs.

I take Mobley over Wiseman 10 times out of 10. Much more mobile, with legit potential on the defensive end, can shoot from outside, plays within the flow of the offense very well (rarely forcing anything), and what I like most of all is that he's a really impressive passer. He'll need to fill out like Mitch has, but he looks like what Mitch becomes in our dreams + a high-end passing game

I haven't watched enough of him yet, but what I've seen is that he has some intriguing skills and he dunks virtually everything if he's close to the rim. I don't like how skinny he is, and it's not like he has a frame like AD or Wiseman where you can just see them packing on weight cause of their wide shoulders.

I'd expect any team drafting to use him as a PF like Jarren Jackson, until he has some more weight to play C.
