It was a good game , Spo adjusted in the 4th with the trapping and we kinda couldn’t adjust fast enough. For all the **** folks giving Thibs this game he actually made the right adjustments all game, especially by having Burks, IQ and Bullock on the floor. Honestly a ball handler like Rose actually would have been needed this situation as the Heat wouldn’t let us get any clean looks from three but we didn’t have anyone break down the defense or get in the paint to make them shift.

Facts!

Topp showing signs. Weird to bench RJ but he did seem out of the action.

I agree about building a winning culture here

but this Heat team was 8-14 entering the game and only 5-5 w/ Butler, they're clearly off rn

Herro been out for a while too. But today at least to me showed why they were in the finals. Their defense is insane. I’m pretty fine with this loss. Just happy to see the Knicks compete, in a game we should’ve gotten blown out

frustrating game for me. good w/ the loss since I'm team tank, but I'd like to see the young players get more burn. not satisfying to watching vets w/ no future playing too much (Elf, Bullock, Rivers, Taj)

I think teams around the league have figured out that IQ is easily shut down by doubling out on the perimeter. Not because he doesn't know how to handle it but because Thibs will immediately bench him for Elf

Elf not only throws it away a lot and plays slow D, but he also can’t make layups. He has that one nice jump stop and floater and good length, which is basically all he adds.

Thibs and the refs cost us this game. Those 3 refs = automatic loss

The Knicks finished last season 10-14 with the same starting lineup and with arguably worse bench. Miller>Thibs. We are bamboozled as usual.

If IQ showed he could handle the double better (or Thibs game planned against it better), IQ might have gotten more minutes.

Ah, who am I kidding. IQ gets about 15-18 mpg no matter what.

Just the Knicks' luck that they get the NBA finals version of the Heat lol. That was like a playoff game. Idk why Thibs all of a sudden decided RJ sucked in the 2nd half and ran with Rivers -- maybe he was fatigued.

Now we're adding Rose to take even more minutes from IQ? This team f*cking sucks like it always has. I wouldn't be surprised if they add a few more middling vets to help us 'get in the playoffs' with a losing record and the 8th seed, just to get swept in the first round.

F*ck this team. We're not going anywhere fast. All we're doing is decreasing our chances of getting a franchise type player in a great draft.

BugginOut wrote:I’m tired of this sh*t. F*ck the vets, f*ck these rotations and f*ck the playoffs. WE ARE A REBUILDING TEAM. We have the 4th youngest team in the league. Play our young players If we lose we lose. It’s not a bad year to be in the lottery. It’s a good draft. But what I am not trying to have us role out vet min players trying to win games when those players have no future.

The fact that RJ and Quick can’t even get 20 minutes is embarrassing. F*CK DROSE TOO. We should be keeping our assets not blowing them on one year rentals, I don’t care if it’s a 2nd round pick. This kind of dumb trade just shows that our management has no idea what they are doing.

The last couple games have shown me the direction we are going, and I am not pleased at all

Yep. I didn’t care as long as some of our kids were the driving forces. But if we’re reverting back to old Knicks where vets w/ no future here (or maybe not even the NBA) play over the kids to win games now, I hope they lose out

Yep. And he wouldn’t be getting doubled if he played with the starters. It would be impossible.

Today is exactly why many of us despite winning the last two were annoyed and frustrated by them because we saw today coming as it was moving in this direction..

No chance. Thibs runs the show and hates rookies. IQ will disappear slowly as the season goes on.

What reason do Knicks fans have to "trust the vision".

It's what baffles me the most honestly.
