After all the fireworks in the offseason and the season right around the corner, I'd say we're in a good position once the league kicks off again. Should be soon enough.

Should be a big uptick in activity when the player ratings get released, and obviously BAF's opening night.

I agree. it'd be a bad thing if any of my role players got uptick and I traded him.

Yup.

I'm holding on to Patty Mills and KCP until their 3.5 star ratings get posted.

I am hoping for 3.0 to 3.5 from multiple players in this group: Rubio, Harris, Reddish, Bey, Gay, and Bagley. I don't see it happening for my rookie ( Moody ). He will probably get the standard fare of a 2.5

I think the 3.0 to 3.5s will give me some solid depth.

Mitchell has been a menace on defense. His ability to contest those step back jumpers but avoid fouls is crazy.

I know its been downplayed by there struggling shooting %'s...but Mitchell and Suggs have been really good defensive rookies (like really good). There analytics on that end have been very promising and the shooting will hopefully will follow.

I agree 100%. The separation and form on the 3’s look good and I think that it’s something that will inevitably turn itself around. Their defense can allow them to change a game even on an off night which is rare in the league especially at guard and as rookies

I'd love to draft top 5 one day. Seems like fun to watch your rookies pan out. I just don't think I have it in me to lose for a whole season. That's gotta be difficult.

A couple of my others had decent games.

Bey: 21 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assist, 2 steals on 50% from the field and 37.5 from three.

Reddish had a poor night from the field; but still contributed. 17 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 3 steals on 35.7% from the field, 42.9% from three, and 100% ( 4 0f 4 ) from the free throw line.

Brooklyn Nets’ James Johnson rents $16,500 a month Tribeca pad

Hoops star James Johnson, who just signed with the Brooklyn Nets, has also signed a lease to rent a Tribeca pad at 57 Reade St. Johnson, 34, is a 12-year NBA veteran.

“He toured the apartment in late September and signed the lease in early October. He loves the layout and the location,” a source close to the deal told Gimme.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom condo was asking $16,500 a month to rent.

How the hell is he affording this? I'm only paying him $1

it was definitely a big challenge to start this league with a bunch of rookies. but it’s worth it if your vision comes to fruition and you win a championship.

Year 1

Cavs
PG:Dennis Smith Jr (30)/Bryn Forbes (18)
SG:Josh Jackson (30)/Glenn Robinson III (18)
SF:Jayson Tatum (32)/Shabazz Muhammad (16)
PF:Skal Labissiere (30)/Dwight Powell (18)
C:Bam Adebayo (30)/ Justin Patton (18)

Inactives: Deron Williams/Shawn Long/Jonah Bolden/Dwayne Bacon/Aaron Brooks

To this in year 5

PG: Jamal Murray/Derrick Rose
SG: Zach Lavine/Victor Oladipo
SF: Jayson Tatum/Josh Hart
PF: Bam Adebayo/Jae’sean Tate
C: Deandre Ayton/Julius Randle

What’s kinda crazy to me was that my original plan in year 1 was to get John Wall and Anthony Davis…then I saw how the bids were going for them and I backed out lol. guess everything happens for a reason.

BAF definitely is a game that rewards the people who put in the work, I'll say that much. Some people like me are active and enjoy it for what it is, but then you got some GM's who are working on a multi layered trade offer that involves a second round pick. A few breaks here and there when it comes to real life landing spots for draftees/free agent signings also helps a ton. All in all I say it every time, I'm amazed we made it this far. Definitely been a better journey than those BAT's of old.
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.

Tanking for a potential all star before league resets sounds good to me lol

How deep In your bag are your prepared to go to retain certain stars during a huge free agency is the question
