After yet another poor performance one has to wonder if Evan Turner has finally played himself out of the starting rotation.
But which one is Evan Turner?
Exactly.

Deep team just not deep enough to play rookies and can’t find 20 mins for your year 2 PF who has been playing well against a team playing SF’s at center. I have not been feeling Thibs since he played Payton all year and I continue to not be all in on him. He plays favorites and is one of them old school coaches that play you by salary.

Quickley also had his worst game in a while. 1-8 is not ideal

13 minutes for Obi tonight, in a game where Nerlens was in foul trouble and the Bulls played 6'6" 210lbs Derrick Jones at C for 22 minutes.
Yall can keep making excuses for Thibs if you want.

The team that went out of their way to sign the guys we turned our noses up at (DeRozan & Ball). You know, the backcourt that defends and can help out on offense.
We even thumbed our noses at Andre Drummond.
Pretty much at everybody.
Tonight ain’t a huge mystery , knicks played admirably vs a high seeded team . Bulls might have even gotten lucky .
It’s games like the rockets that kill us. Mitch returning and sinking the entire lineup killing us . Thibs not benching Mitch in particular killing us.
We act like we need a whole new team . What we need is a semblance of last years team and Mitch had nothing to do with it .
So this ain’t even about tonight , it’s about the foreseeable future. This is about at full strength NYK will have problems vs every team even the rockets .
Noel wasn’t even healthy during camp . Maybe thibs is right for not betting on him . Neither guy must be the answer , consolidate and the FO needs to bring in a center . If Turner is available that’s a home run . Ayton because of contract ? Sure I would . Gotta check on some more. To me it’s becoming a FO issue and it’s about the center position as it has been from day 1.
Why oh why didn’t we get Drummond? He went for peanuts .
Per 100 he is 16 and 23.
Mitch and Noel topping out at 13 and 14 respectively .

RJ in a deal for Fox Sacramento hangs up
RJ in a deal for Ingram New Orleans hangs up
RJ in a deal for DeJounte Spurs hang up
RJ in a deal for Lillard Blazers hang up
Here is what is going to happen. This Front Office is going to talk about us being aggressive in the trade market. Nothing is going to happen. Following year our big splash is Terrance Ross. Fast Forward to the 2023/2024 season and Fournier will still be on the books. Randle will be untradeable. We will be an awful team but still not crappy enough for a top pick in the lottery. We will be giving the term treadmill a whole new meaning.

We might catch LeBron on a suspension..
NBA suspending LeBron on a national TV game and the only time he comes to MSG...unlikely

On the positive side, that was one of our better 3rd quarters and the starting unit actually payed decent together. Kemba played well orchestrating the offensein that stretch
Mavs
C: Horford | Goga | Paul Reed |
PF: Lauri Markkanen | Randle | Tucker
SF: Trey Murphy | Trent | Anderson | Simone
SG: Vassell | Trent | Livingston
PG: Spida | Mann | Deuce

Thibs is garbage. Dude went full Larry Brown with D Rose and D Rose couldn’t play D or get by anybody. Kemba played well to get benched.

I think everyone's expectations for this team have been too high.
It is a team which is named after pants afterall.
