Generally, there's an optimist lurking in me.
I'd have been fine with the team treading water this year, but in a different way. Meaning, no better or worse than last year.
But this team is obviously worse than last year, and that's with Rose already on the team.
I get it could take a while for the starters to mesh, but the starting lineup looks really ill conceived somehow, and that's after I thought some more offense from the PG position and Fournier having more bball skills over Bullocks would be worth it. Offensively at least.
But the team looks bad. Randle's reverted to a lot of bad habits. RJ has regressed HARD the last 5 or so games. Fournier has been awful and Kemba inconsistent.

I'll get around to caring when 80% of the starting lineup can string together good performances over 75% of the next 20 games. 16 games, 4 of 5 starters playing "well". Not excellent. Or very good. Just well. And I went with 4/5 because someone always has an off night and the other guys should pick him up.

If not, I'm not that interested. Team is dull, it's youth isn't that great, and they don't seem that good. The whole is a lot less than the sum of the parts, and the parts don't add up to some great sum either.
