He did it last game too. Why don't we do it more

Because Thibs is a moron and also because Randle, for all the all around skills he brings as a PF, I think has trouble playing outside of his inner parameters.
It's one of the arguments, along with his ego, why it might be best to move Randle even if he's technically the most talented Knick.

If RJ & Obi can play more like this than they did last night, with regularity without Julius, we'd be ready to move him...but so far we're 1-3 without Julius and this was the first one in which the kids looked really good.

...which makes me wonder how much of that was just the kids getting to take advantage of Charlotte's "defense", and how much of that was a glimpse into what they'll be able to do consistently, someday.

The randomness of Fournier holding a knicks record is crazy

Not as random as Chris Duhon holding the most assists in a game but still pretty wild.

Agree strongly with this post. Particularly the first five words. Also the rest of it is pretty reasonable as well. But .. just as a thought experiment .. why not think about using your players to make the most of them, as a coach? Just an idea.

Fournier is by no means a problem. He's been being used badly - as I pointed out with stats about 10 weeks ago - and even so is providing the only grown-up but not over-the-hill play on the team. Obviously his defence is, was and always will be crap, but everyone always knew that. You take the -s with the +s if you have him on the roster.

Even though Burks is a SG who can fill in at PG, and Fournier is a SG who can see some time at SF, I still stand by trade one, and really, it should be Burks.

Knicks should trade or draft a point, which makes Burks expendable and get Fournier into a 6th man role where he gets 28-30 minutes a game.

Being serious, really encouraging showing. If Obi can ever play like this with consistency, he'll be a fun player...just love the passing he has to go with his threat at the rim.

Your devil's advocate stuff won't ruin tonight for me

...why would I want to ruin anyone on here's night? We don't get enough fun nights from this franchise, everyone should get to enjoy them whenever we do get a night like tonight...even the trolls.

Unlike some on here, I don't have the energy to bare any ill will towards any of you pricks

Duhon also with the Knicks record for most drunken white sorority chicks banged by a Knick.
Some might assume it was David Lee, but that was Duhon's wheelhouse.

imagine how awesome this game from obi would really feel if randle was on an expiring instead of sitting on a 4 year extension that kicks in at the end of the year.

Maximize their strengths and minimize their weaknesses?

Blasphemy around these parts

That record could have been Frank's .. if only he hadn't had the groin-strain problems.
