Have you seen AJ griffin too. I know you wasn’t a big fan cause of his knees but even he looking like a steal. I said this on draft day but there was gonna be MAD players we passed on that’s gonna be tough. This draft was deep

I liked Mathurin if he was to fall to our pick but that didn’t happen. In the 2nd round I liked Nembhard and would have taken him easily and called it a night. Pacers ended up with both. Both look really good

We moved picks to overpay Brunson though yay

We have too much money for scouts to punt on picks.
These guys are an embarressment in this regard.

A few of us, me included, been saying it since draft night. You know, that very very deep draft that pundits said was nothing special.

Luckily there is an afterlife.

Yeah, we shizz the bed this last draft.
Calling it now - we will trade/punt on most of our next picks and those players will outperform what we get in return.
Short term $$$ over team building.

That's crazy. He needs to keep one of those gallon bottles of water around him, its easy to go all day without hydrating yourself.

It isn't really hyperbole to be disappointed the knicks passed on Jalen Williams. He has the prototypical wing skillset any team would want in 2022. You could question how valid his #s were playing at a lesser school, but the eye test jumped off the screen. I was "fine" with what the knicks did at the time, but it’s still disappointing.

This isn’t anything new but it’s wild how awful the knicks have been overall since Ewing was traded yet barely committed to a full youth movement. We arguably have the most young talent on the roster top to bottom and still found a way to **** it up. Obi and quickley specifically continue to be held back by thibs’ wild stubbornness.

Also, thibs shouldn’t be getting credit for completely benching Fournier. The decision to start him in the first place as the season opened was an issue. If Fournier knew during training camp he’d be coming off the bench, he could’ve better acclimated to it before real games started. Instead, he could never get in a rhythm and was terrible.

We were rumored to Griffin, who has also been good.

Now, I like Brunson a lot. But it's still remarkable that we were targeting him but hadn't planned for that cap space.

I was waffling between signing him this offseason and Aaron Gordon and chose Gordon. Gordan is having a fine season but Kuzma would have been better.

sham KD needs to be stripped of the award after that horrific 4th quarter versus Boston on Sunday night. 8 turnovers, all of them mindnumbingly bad. He singlehandedly gave that game away.

It's now five straight losses versus the Celtics, and Durant still can't stop turning the ball over when trying to isolate against Al Horford and Grant Williams. It makes him look washed up.

Durant needs to face facts that he's not that explosive off of the dribble anymore and needs to initiate offense from the high and low post areas where he can shoot over defenders. Dude's ego won't let him tho
